Just because im sure it will come up, as news of the first PC death spreads around im going to address Lethality here.

First off, EVERYONE can be killed. Npcs, Pcs, random people I add in for flavor... Everyone.

Second, I, as storyteller, will only kill you for the sake of drama, suspense and the story. (Or if your just making really really bad decisions...)

And finally. Death by another player. This can happen... as a private game Lethality is expected. If you want a safe, consequence free roleplaying experience this is not a good place for you. This is an adult game with adult themes and murder happens to be one of them.

If a player is targeting your character because of out of character reasons, i will intervene. But, if you piss of anotehr character, IN character, you are going to have to deal with the consequences of such actions.

Players actions are their own, i will NOT tell someone they cant kill you. Its up to you to talk to them and decide if maybe just a good beatdown is order rather than a bullet beetween the eyes.

You can request that i freeze a scene should you feel an act of violence is unwarranted or caused by something non game related.

I will moderate, but i wont dictate.

So the big point here i guess is: DO WHAT THOU WILST.

But remember: There are consequences for every action, its a rare person who can be killed and just forgotten.

Eh, while im in a ranting mood we might as well cover the rest of the 'Here be adult themes' disclaimer.

I in no way abdicate drug abuse, murder, rape, kidnapping, torture, slavery, or genocide. But i do know they make for great drama and a great game!  

So on that happy note i want you all to be aware you may, or may already have read about any of these on this forum or chat.

Drugs happen, drugs get people killed, drugs make people do foolish things, drugs can ruin your life.

If drug scenes make you uncomfortable for whatever reason you have no obligation to play them or near them.

The same goes for sex. Sex happens, even in a text based game.

Some people will play this kind of scene more graphically than others. BUT, since i am not forcing an 18+ policy on people joining the board we cant have X-rated posts and i will delete or edit anything that crosses the line. Details are good, but frothy blowjobs or unlubed anal needs to be kept to your messengers.  

If you use any of these emotiocons in an IC post i will slap the everliving shit out of you!

Whats next... Oh, Rape.

This is another adult theme that needs to be handled delicately and adhere to the 'R' Rating guidline. Ive only ever seen one PC on PC rape in a game so i doubt it will happen here... but it could. Rape is nothing to take lightly, and the posting of such a scene needs to be handled both delicately and maturely by everyone involved.

hmm... Torture.

Is usually proceeded by kidnapping and can also be a great thing to play through. The only proble with confining and torturing another PC is that it means they can only play with you.

So if your a more casual poster, i would warn you away from this. Nothing sucks more than being trapped in someones basement and ignored for three weeks.

should combine this, add in stuff and thoughts on posting racial slurs, and post it as a locked main hub kinda like a Terms of Service. that way everyone can see it and it is not as well hidden as it is now.  People can't claim to have not read it if it is the first thing you see on the forum, and with future advertising it may be good to have there to keep new ppls in line.  If they 'have not read it' you can bitch slap em and make their char the gimp.

My Policy on Racial Slurs:

They are colorful adjectives that are a great way to convey predjudice, hate and a characters outlook on those around him.

Nigger, Spic, Kike, Cracker, Mic, Towelhead, Fag...

It doesnt matter. Write/say whatever you want. Ill defend your right to speak freely and play whatever character you want before i would ever turn on a swear filter or write up a list of words you cant say...
