The staff are working on adding chat component to Sanfield. The site is going to go through an overhaul and move to a new location. Fret not, all shall be explained. Forums and chat will both be available, both moderated. Some guidelines and settings will be explained and found on the new site, stated clearly.

In the meantime, continue playing. The boards have been quiet lately.

Myself, I'm currently getting the other site ready for the overhaul, between uni work, raising kids (solo) and two vacations scheduled in the next six weeks. Busy, busy. I will be around as much as I'm able but my time won't free up to what it was previously until late April.
