If theres one thing Static enjoys its home invasion.

His paranoia wouldnt let him or the girls stay in the city. He promised hed find them a place and this one looks perfect...

Its a little cabin in the mountains. With nothing to betray its location but a long 12 mile winding dirt road.

The place cant be more than 4 or 5 rooms, and has no electricity. But anyone snooping around out here could be dealt with, assuming they found the place at all.

Its mid day when Static rolls up on his ATV. He looks like any other college student just out fucking around in his booths shorts and tank top. The small chromed out shotgun over his back might give pause or alarm but hunters arent that uncommon out here...

The cabin is occupied, a woman with a toddler and a teenage daugher having lunch on the picnic table. Vacationers, judging from the LL Bean clothes and amount of sunscreen.

Static rolls right up, looking lost and confused.

'Excuse me ladies.. i think i got myself turned around somewhere...'

The mother narrows her eyes. Maybe its Statics tatoos, maybe its the fact the trails out here are rarely used and well marked. Whatever it is, she doesnt trust him.

'Into the house kids. Dessert time.' She tells the two...

'I dont know this area well, but my husband will be right back and you can ask him.'

She tells Static, dissmissive and threatened, herding her young ones towards the house.

Static frowns, advancing anyway.

'Maybe you have a map? ive gotta make it back to my camp by 2 i dont have much time...'

When the family keeps retreating Static will move to plan B.

As they climb the steps and open the door he will sling his trusty shotgun Wynona into his hands and take aim...

The shot echoes in the mountains. Nothing unusual about gunfire in the woods around here... The pellets shred the womans legs and she drops the toddler inside the cabin.

The daughter screams and runs inside, pulling the wounded mother along.

Static just chuckles and cocks the shotgun, calling out.

'Run Rabbit!..'

Panic ensues inside the cabin. The wounded mother barking orders to the terrified teenager.

The door is slammed and locked. A flimsy wooden affair and a sad little deadbolt. They scramble for a phone to call for help as Static comes up the porch and kicks hard against the door.

The door cracks but holds. The noise sets the toddler right back to screaming as the mother pushes everyone into one of the far rooms to hide...

'Come on now. Im a nice guy, i just need some directions!' Static taunts, tapping on the window before he boots the door again.

This time the door breaks, right in the middle. Static applies his shoulder and forces his way inside.

The cabin is quiet, the mother and daugher pin the toddler and try to muffle the screams but to no avail.. the muffled cries give away their position.

Static stalks through the house and kicks open the door to the bedroom. he can see them, trying to hide under the bed. Most importantly, he can see the daughters hand dialing someone on the cellphone...

He raises the shotgun again to silence communication...

Static fires, the close range and heavy buckshot not only destroying the phone, but blasting the girls arm off at the elbow with a spray of gore and renewed screaming from everyone.

Static punctuates his threats by cocking the shotgun again.

The three finally surrender rather than get shot to death under a bed. Static will seal all three of them in the tiny bathroom. Confident that only the toddler could fit through the window and that it would never make the 12 mile trip to a main road if it did.

Static surveys the place. It will suit their needs nicely. He will have to rebuild the door, but he has time... He punches a message into his phone for Eve to find upon waking.

New home secured, I even got dinner.

Static sits in the lazy boy chair he dragged over by the door. He slips two more shells into Wynona in his lap and pulls the lever to recline.

Now all he has to do is see if this husband ever shows up...

come sundown in the fleabag they found, she's suddenly awake, missing the normal presence of Static.  Looking around, she only sees the still dozing Collio, and Malcolm who is scuttling about for whatever might be about.  As well as her phone...opens it, sees the text from Static, chuckles softly, then goes to kick Collio awake.

She'll text Static back, letting him know they're awake.

Once Static gets her reply he will send them directions, as well as a picture of the delicious, terrified family trapped in the bathroom...

The husband never showed. And judging from the lack of beer, the overabundance of cosmopolitan magazines and the general... suck. Of the cabin, he would bet she won it in the divorce.

He could check her for a ring, but they cry everytime he opens the door and thats just getting annoying.

So instead Static sits in his chair, watching for headlights or any other sign of the dead girls coming up the road. Wynona in one hand, a half drank bottle of wine in the other.

Eve will push Collio into waking up, tucking Malcolm back into his travel cage, with food, even beer in his water thingie, and begin the journey off to the cabin.  Even if Static took the SUV, its not a problem to get a car of some sort.  Always something or other of that sort sitting about.  That, or she'll 'borrow' one.  Either way, soon, they are on the way, both giggling over various theories as to what Static found.

*She coughs and opens her eyes sitting up* CINNAMON BUNS *She yawns and looks over to Eve* what? *She rubs her nose looking around. She was just getting over the high from her drug time with Kara. And the infor she found out from her. So people are trying to kill her..........nice*

Eve didn't really give Collio time to wake up, just got her into the vehicle and started moving.  If Eve's driving doesn't kill you...at least it will wake you up.

Letting her know whats up, on the way.  Seems like a good breakfast, once they get there, at least.

*She rolls around in the seat. Yup this wakes her up* so we found a new place huh? Pity I kinda liked that last one. Oh did you know people are trying to kill me? *She looks over and grabs malcomes cage and begins to toss it into the air and catch it*

'again, or still?' *grins* 'hell girl, people been trying to kill the two of us since before you were an itch in your daddy's pants.  Sometimes I think they just don't like us'

Off the main road, and down the dirt road, Collio might want to hang on...and hang on to the cage, unless Malcolm gets car sick again.  

When the headlights come up the road Static will snap to attention. The silence of the woods and the quiet weeping behind the bathroom door had nearly put him to sleep...

He stands up and walks to the doorway, watching to make sure he recognizes the car. It'd be a pity if he had to shoot off anymore hands to keep people quiet up here...

Static should recognize the car, if not, he'll recognize the greeting he gets from Eve....squealing the vehicle to a stop two inches from him, then throwing herself on top of him....and both of them probably landing in a tangle on the ground, hopefully without his gun going off.  Eve will sit up on him, grinning cheerfully at him.

'so lover, y'all got something for us?'

Static, slightly panicked and definitly winded from the tackle will just point to the bathroom door.

From inside Eve and Collio will hear the cries for help that started as soon as the engine got close enough for them to hear it...

Well, Static will get a case of beer, and a slightly drunk and probably car sick rat for company, as Eve and Collio go to 'check things out'

Of course, Static will know, only too well what goes on.  Eve at least is fairly....well....civilized, at least compared to Collio.  Whoever taught that girl her feeding manners, well, let us just say, Collio likes young ones, the louder they scream the better.

yeah, Eve likes the younger ones too.  She's hungry, so's collio, so, they sure dont waste time.

After breakfast, take out the trash...then rejoin Static and rat.

Static lets the girls do their thing. Better they feed on little girls with one arm than on him. While they have their way with the family he will do his best to repair the door.

The lack of tools and the flimsy nature of the thing make it nearly impossible to repair. So when Eve and Collio come out they will find Static busting up the picnic table into boards. He will call up to them, telling his plan.

'That doors fucked. Guess i dont know my own strength. Ill board it and the windows up, we can still lock the bulkhead for security and Ill hear anyone trying to rip boards down...'

Collio will curl up with the magazines for a bit of comedy reading, while Eve will help Static a bit, making sure that when day comes, they'll be safe.  After, she'll send Static off to get some rest, while she explores about the mountains.  Probably taking Malcolm along.  Getting the lay of the area, talking to animals thereabouts, seeing who, besides themselves are up there.

Nothing like getting the gossip from animals to know whats going on.
