Without knowing where to look Solomon is in for a long search... Given the distance traveled and the expansive area before him he will have to time his movements carefully, lest he be caught out in the rising sun...

Solomon searches the Mountains for hours, but the wilderness is dense and deep and the eastern horizon was beginning to brighten with alarming intensity.

*Kara tries to respond, but it's just static, like someone's just pulled the plug on the dvd player while the TV is still running.*

As the sun lowers over the western horizon the following day, Solomon emerges from his temporary haven. He watches the sky darken from deep blue to dull black. Kara is alive, he is keenly aware of that. Had she'd died last night or in the sunlight hours, he would of felt it.

But that did not mean that she was save. He had to find her.

*The cottage seamed like it was breathing....breathing with her situatued deep in the marrow of its bones. Kara had made it back and finally fell into a deep, dreamfilled sleep.

She wakes up and bolts out of bed clutching her chest. In her blurry state of mind she makes her way quickly to the kitchen and hunts down a bottle of 'fine vintage', cork popped she tilts her head back and drinks heavily until her brain begins to calm down.

Still in her nightdress she makes her way to the corner of the kitchen and lowers herself against the wall. Is someone coming for her?*

It feels as though a lightening bolt has raced down from the heaven, crashing into the back of Solomon's skull. His whole body, convulses, contorting in a pose of pain. Paralysis lasts only seconds, then he is lying on the earthen ground, twitching feebly. He is sure that if he looked, he would see smoke rising from his frame.

It takes several minutes for his mind to clear... or at least, reach a level of clarity that he is accustomed to. He stands back on his feet, looking to the sky.

There.

He believes he senses Kara, off in the distance. He is certain of it. Wasting no time, he rushes off into the night.
