Sean sits crosslegged in the basement of the burn with featheres and shells in his hair, wearing nothing but a pair of shorts. He has tribal painting all over his body and many herbs burning all around him.

He takes big wiffs of each burning herb through his nose and breathing them deeply, After each herb is wafted He lights the animal bone made pipe, filled with the herb salvia divorium, he takes three large hits from the pipe before placing the bowl on the table and going into a deep metatative sleep.

As Sean drifts into a deep trance he wont even notice when the floor of static reality falls out from under him. He will find himself cast into a strange place, not the umbra he knows but some kind of dreamscape.

A slow vibration creeps through his body and he will find himself surrounded by a dense fog. Off before him are a pair of yellow eyes, floating at about ten feet in the air.

This place has a strange resonance, a feeling of thick dust gathering on his skin. He can hear what sounds like a far off wind...

Sean looking utterly amazed will try to step forward closer to the eyes to see if it notices him.

The eyes seem to be trained on Sean, but he will find he cant move. The fog is thick like Jelly and while it neither impedes his breathing or turning his head, he cant make any forward movement.

The eyes dip low and seem to come forward a bit. A low but definitly female voice comes through the fog to Sean.

'You will make no progress here until you attune yourself with this world... You must step through and follow me. I have many secrets for you...'

A glowing outline forms around the eyes, an exaggerated female form easily ten feet tall. A yellow misted hand comes through the fog and rests on Seans chest. He will feel a calming surge of energy, as if the gauntlet were weakening before him for once...

Seans eyes close as he gets deeper into his trance reaching the peak of the salvia added trip. He pushes his way into the guantlet leaving his body behind and entering as his spirit.

Sean will feel the world solidify around him. The fog seems to lessen, the sky becoming red above him. The misty, yellow ten foot woman sits before him.

'I have travelled very far to seek a gaurdian. I have a place of power and you are the only awakened one who can reclaim it for me.'

Sean is strangely relaxed about this whole situation.
"what must i do for you?"

'I have been away, deep in the spirit world, seeking to reclaim something i lost. I came home to find my home full of demons... I cannot cast them out on my own.'

The glowing woman explains her plight. The mists before her dance to mime out a representation of the demons... two of them, foul black shadowed things with glowing red faces. They resemble wingless vultures...

'They pervert my fountain of power. Cast them out and i will share it with you.'

She offers, closing her right hand it seems to solidify, as if she holds an object, glowing under her misty limb... She waits for Sean to agree before she will hand it over.

Sean looses his cool, and pauses for a long time before finally geting "yes" out. He hold his hand out for whatever she has.

The glowing woman opens her hand to reveal a large bead like the ones in Seans hair. It feels light in his palm, as if made from balsa wood but is hard as metal and colored like pale gold or a tiny version of the sun.

'This will protect you... Go into the mountains and i will guide you to my home. You will know my earthly form when you see it...'

Sean takes the bead, Puts it on the bottom of one of his braids and fixes it so it will stay.

Once the bead is in postiion he fades from this world and back into the basement of the burn, waking up in the same meditation stance he left in.

The bead still being Seans hair once he drops back into the real world is something that rarely happens. Items that can exist on two planes are exceedingly rare...

The bead seems to glow faintly when Sean touches it, it always carries a small warmth on its surface. Any immediate effect it has is unclear...

Sean puts out all of the herbs and incense emptys the bowl and begins packing all of his clothes and herbs. Once he has everything he owns he carrys it all up the stairs to the main floor.

He walks up behind oprhen at the bar, "Thanks for the place to crash man, but i have dreamspeaker duty to take care of."

Orphen probably will just think hes tripping out hardcore as hes still wearing nothing but shorts and covered in tribal painting.  

Orphen is also worried about how much of the paint ended up all over his downstairs lounge...

'Uh huh... see ya later man.'

Sean walks away from orphen and out of the bar, to find a place that hes not sure actualy exsists.

First thing hell do is hitch hike his way to the outskirts of the city, getting off as far from town that he can possible ride.

He will hike all day into the mountains setting up his tiny 1 man pop tent once it gets dark.

As Sean sets up his tent he will be interrupted by a loud 'Whooo' from very close to him. When he looks up, no more than six feet from him on a low branch is a large owl with vivid, freakishly yellow eyes. It twists its head to the side and peers at him again calling out 'Whooo!'

Sean smiles nodding to the owl, he says to himself, "either this is the sign on a huge coincidence."

The huge owl spreads its wings out an easy six feet and puffs its head out at Sean. It looks from the tent to him and again calls out, almost sounding urgent; 'Whooo!'

Sean restuffs the tent into the bag and throws it inside his large backpack, "all right, do you want me to follow you?"

The owl seems to sigh, it stares at Sean for a moment before jumping from the branch, circling above him for a moment and heading due north...
