It's been a month since I have seen any of those that dominated my days just some time ago. Rahshid had left on business, supposedly the Gamers were tracking a cell phone and Gand, I am uncertain as to him. He seemed to always be running things, always busy. I have spent some time in meditation, perhaps the lightening people were simply misunderstood. I had rode my bike past the Red Fist a few days ago and it was not the same, something had changed badly. I spoke with my Kami and always the same dream, a black pillar boring into the heart of the city. I could simply leave, as I did in San Francisco, but they will follow. I would be hounded to the ends of the earth. I must make a stand, I must defend those whom this shall destroy. I realize the Kami have cleared my questions, answered my dilemma and I have ignored the answer staring me in the face.

I return to the disco with nude woman, here I shall find Gand. I must learn my neighbors, we are a community. I walk toward the door after parking my bike. There are the bouncers, I hope time has not dulled their recognition of me. I appear as a young asian  man well dressed but a bit disheveled having ridden a bike here. The nights are growing hotter, I feel the breath of air conditioning coming out of the club. "I am here to see the owner about a dog," I say and they seem to recognize me. I walk in glancing about, the place is packed. I should have realized it was a Friday, I always forget such details. I decide to take a seat at the bar, as a well endowed waitress wanders over."Mojito, if you could, and do you mind letting the owner know there is a man here to see him about a dog," setting down a twenty. She seems confused but for the owner of a club called the White Rabbit I am certain he has heard crazier things. She wanders to a phone and after a quick call sets the drink down in front of me. I intone a shinto prayer inclining my head before I start the drink, glancing about the club. (Sense Quintessence)

The club is quite literaly alive with quintessence. From somewhere in the place it springs forth like water and meshes with the patterns of the building.

Rachel, the well endowed bartender will quickly mix up the mojito and slide it to Toshi. Gand comes down right after she calls...

Something about a dog is usually bad news... He will slip onto the stool next to Toshi, not far from the spot where they killed Spencer, Rachel mixes his whiskey sour almost instinctively.

'Toshi, long time no see, whats this dog buisness about?..'

 He smiles at seeing Gand, offering his hand and a slight bow of the head."Does that actually mean something? I just heard it on an old western movie I caught last night and figured it sounded mysterious. I have been meaning to come by, with Rahshid gone, you are my only real connection. The gamers just are not my style. I passed that dojo the other day and wow it was crawling with cops. Guess they failed to pay rent, It was real dead too," with a glance denoting something serious,"Real Dead. I have had some time for recollection lately and feel the need to be a bit more neighborly. I would say I had a reason, but really just wanted to know who was still around and offer a hand if there was anything I could help with." as he sits back taking a long drink.

"Very fresh mint, the sign of a good Mojito."

'The Dojo, really?..' Gand sounds suprised. He always figured the Akashics would be the last to go down...

'Things arent looking good out there Toshi. I havent heard much from anyone since that whole... bloodsucker thing went sour. Ive been pretty much holing up...' he glances around and leans in close to whisper..

'Word is one of the fanged fucks is after me for some reason.. i think we opened up a huge can of worms with that deal...'

 "And to be a true harbinger, the Library was just closed for renovations. When you renovate do you usually seal the entire building? It seemed a bit odd."

Leaning in close,"I have dispatched their kind before, they are very potent. Perhaps I could assist, can you lure it out in the open? Do you believe it is watching you? I could try my best, but the Kue-Jin have powers that are foreign, alien even. Many things are whispered in the ancient texts very little is known. Where do you believe they are and how would I go about intercepting them?" as he finishes his drink and nods at the bartender for another.

'The Men in black must be cleansing the entire city... they will come here eventually too..'

Gand comments, forboding...

'Im not sure who this thing is. But i do know a bit about her, and a possible way to turn her attention else where. That, is what i could use some help with...'

 "Sure, it will definitely hone some of my skills, you seem a bit more worldly and I could use a favor as well. Most of my teachers are in Japan and I am having a bit of difficulty understanding a few things, maybe you might be able to shed some light on it. What do you have in mind for her?" as the bartender sets down the second Mojito.

' Well im not sure if youll like the plan too much... but she appears to have a kid. From what Aiden can see we might be able to either get ahold of him, or make her think we did or can... and we might have an ally. Rather than just one more gun pointed at us...'

When he says Aiden he points, to the tall, leggy red head currently working the pole on the main stage.

'Aiden is kind of like us... she can see things before they happen.'

Does this Aiden have any idea whom or where we might start looking, its a large city and searching in the dark seems a large task to undertake." "Can you really see stuff like that? I sure as hell can't, and I am fairly certain Vincent didn't either otherwise the meeting might have gone a bit better."

Well...just as these two men are talking, Karlie..little Karlie..moves up and whisper in Gand's ear* Boo...*Did he see her enter? is she getting taller? something with her hair? There is something different about her...ah well, she grins to the man Gand is talk to and winks* Heya cuttie! *She up nods to Rachel* And sexy mama..you got something for me? *She moves to the bar, grinning to both men, then to Rachel. Well Karlie is a barrel of fun tonight, though she's dressed a little more subdued tonight, black jeans, black low cut top and black high heeled boots*

'Well i certainly didnt see that coming...' Gand groans as Karlie sneaks up on him and Toshi.

He assumes shes here to beg for more blow, or tell him she wrecked his studio... hes clearly just not in a people mood tonight.

Rachel has a few things for Karlie, first a nice tall shot, a big grin and a package wrapped in paper...

 "Hello to you, Ehh," looking at Gand for introductions.

*And if you think she's going to pay for that shot from Rachel you're crazy, she grins and takes the shot, taking her package, she glances to the men* Gand...I need to see you alone, some time, doesn't have to be tonight or anything, but soon..really soon..*Her eyes actually dart about as if she's a little nervous about something...or some one* Yeah..I'm Karlie *Nods to Toshi*

Gand does the introduction thing with his usual flare.

'Toshi this is Karlie shes a coke whore but sucks like a hoover, Karlie, this is Toshi, hes not as japanese as he pretends to be.'

 I shrug, his assessment of me is at least fairly accurate, I cannot attest to the other though.

*She beams at Toshi as if to say..."Yeah...he's right and damn proud of it as well" She looks over at Rachel and grins* I can lick a pussy in no time flat, too...keep that one in mind..*She winks and returns attention to the men*

She exits from upstairs and quickly makes her way to the bar. She smiles to Gand, Toshi and Karlie.
"Hey there darlings," she says softly. Rachel starts to make her a drink.

*She grins to Alice* Same goes for you too..*She licks her lips seductively to Alice, then giggles*

 "Good Evening Miss," and finishes his Mojito. "Wow, Gand you seem to be quite popular this evening."

Gand just shrugs as if to say "im always popular"...

He continues the introductions when Alice arrives.

'Alice this is Toshi, Toshi this is Alice, the real brain behind this club.'

Gand motions for another drink, a double, with htese two around hes going to need it.
