If Gand is anything, he is predictable, especially to me.

As soon as Leonard showed me the place i knew it was his. He always estabishes himself in this way, taking over a node and building something sordid ontop of it.

In Vegas he ran a boxing venue over a node, funded by a clone of this place. This was years ago... hundreds and hundreds of miles ago.

A white Mercedes drops me out front and i make my way up the steps. If the bouncers dont step aside i have a friend to convince them; benjamin franklin.

Once i set foot inside i know this place is Gands. It smells like him, feels like his chaotic and sexual resonance. I wont be asking for him, that would be too easy. Ill just wait and see what i can lure out of hiding.

I take a seat at the bar and order a vodka martini, just because i know Gand hates them.

Alice is sitting in her office, the door is locked and there is a do not disturb sign on the door knobs. Alice's voice can be heard, muffled over the naughty industrial music of the dancers. She sounds like she's having a stiff discussion with someone...sucks to be them.

*She exits Alice's office, she's just not high enough to find Alice chewing out someone funny. She makes her way down the steps, once again avoiding the awful display on stage, call themselves dancers, kill them, fuckin'...she should get up there, with Gand away, nothing would piss him off more than to have her strip in his club, with him gone. She giggles at the thought as she takes a place at the bar, winking to Rachel* Heya sexy, gimmie something that would remind me of you *Her eyes travel up and down Rachel's body, she grins* Sweet, and maybe a little, tangy? *She winks*

Rachel looks up from pouring Auroras drink as Karlie sits down. She smiles at Karlie but shakes her head at the comments...

'Your a strange bird Karlie.'

She mixes Karlie up a sex on the beach, sweet and fruity.

I look up as Karlie takes the seat next to me and hits on the bartender. I look her over trying to decide if she works here or shes one of the lesbians in the crowd...

I break the ice in a horribly predictable way.

'Hey you come here alot?'

*She winks to Rachel and grins* You don't know that half of it. *She looks to Aurora and her grin widens, she rolls her eyes at the question and smirks* Kind of a prisoner here, is more like it, not allowed ta leave *She twists her lips a it and looks the woman over again* So, what exactly brings someone as beautiful as you here?

Strippers, busty bartenders, prisoners... This place sounds more and more like Gands dreamhouse. I give Karlie a lovely smile and ask;

'Im sort of a prisoner too' I begin, tapping at a gold ring on my finger.

'And im looking for someone.'

I say, with a smile but a cold voice, as if serious.

'Im looking for my renegade husband, Gand. I can only assume hes running the show here. Seems like his kind of investment...'

I wave a hand dismissively at the place. I think he did better with the boxing stuff, or at least i had more to look at. I look to Karlie and sip at my vodka martini...

*She gives the woman a huge dark grin* I'm Karlie *She offers the woman a hand* Gand never said anything about a wife, he actually seemed to hate the idea of being married, this is, just funny.*She leans in and whispers* Please tell me you're serious about  the whole killing part?

Rachels jaw nearly hit the floor when she heard Aurora. She busies herself with something at the other end of the bar. There are some things she just doesnt want to know...

'He does hate it. But getting out isnt as simple as leaving town...'

I dont explain the circumstances, and i dont shake Karlies hand. I just raise my drink to her.

'You cant kill Gand, Karlie, the mans bulletproof and slippery. So its true he runs this place then?'

*She glances up to the office area* For the most part *She takes back her hand and smirks, takes a long drink, then sighs as she leans against the bar, looking back to Aurora* Are you saying that 'cause you want to off 'im for your self? Or because you really believe that? *She glances around and chuckles lightly* Do you want him to know that you're looking for him?

'Trust me.' I say, finishing my martini and leaving the two olives settled at the bottom of the glass.

'Gand wont go until its his time.'

I glance at the time on my cellphone and set a ten dollar bill on the bar for Rachel.

'Tell him Aurora stopped in. Ill find him later on. Nice to meet you, Karlie..'

I tell her as i stand from the bar.

*She smirks* He's gunna be happy to know you're here for him, isn't he? *She giggles and nods* It was really good meeting you, hey, could I call you sometime?

I just shrug and look at Karlie over my shoulder.

'He might be, and sure, if you can find a number.'

I tell her, and im off. Ive lit the fuse i came here to light its time to see if i can smoke Gand out and i dont intend to be here when it happens.

I head outside and to my waiting car, informing the driver to add this address to his gps for later.

*She pulls out a "cigarette" from her back pocket ad lights it, she pulls on it as she watches the bomb shell walk out, she licks her lips as she pulls the cigarette away* Damn, she sounds like fun.

A heavy, loud thud erupts from Alice's office. The thud comes from something big being thrown against a wall.
A long moment of silence follows the boom and Alice swings her office door open. She glares at a gaping man, causing him to wisely scurry off. She takes a deep breath and composes herself. She looks to Rachel and smiles.
"My usual...please," she says through a strained grin...or bearing of teeth.

'Ill make it a double...' Rachel comments under her breath scurrying off to mix up the double cosmo.

*She looks to Alice the little smirk still on her face, oh she thinks she's pissed now? heh. Karlie looks to Rachel and winks* Hey Rachel, why don't we keep all that between you an' me for a bit? *She grins at Alice* I've got a surprise, but it's gotta wait 'till the Devil Man is back. *She pulls on her cigarette* So what's got you spittin' bullets?
