It's ringing off the wall.
Gand's office resonates with the irritating sound of the phone ringing. If enough time goes by without him or anyone else answering, Nikki will switch to his cell phone. If we're going to die if we don't go to this meeting, Nikki's going to call all of her friends.

Gand will answer the office phone when it rings;

'Cock-slob enterprises, Mr.Quickie speaking.'

Jusdging from the slur Gand has been hard at work all day...

Nikki laughs.
"Aww man, good one! I was expecting the 'you stab'em, we slab 'em' line."

"So, my dear fellow inebriated person, there's apparently somthing going down. This hoighty toighty bitch Aurora came and told all of us willworkers over at the Burn that we had to come to this meeting or we'd all die."

She pauses, pulling the napkin she wrote the info down on out of her pocket, then giving Gand the address, date and time of the meeting.

"Look, I don't know what's up, but I figure you might want to be there if it concerns all of us. Call up anyone we might have missed, would you? I think Orphen, Sean, Seamus and Blue all know about it."

She waits on the line, waiting for Gand's response.

Gand chuckles smugly when Nikki mentions Auroras name.

'Eh, if Orphens going ill sit this one out. I dont think i could restrain myself from strangling Aurora just yet...'

Gand seems more concerned about who is holding the meeting than what the meeting is about. Nikki can draw her own conclusions about that.

'Thanks for the ring Nikki, dont turn your back on that bitch, focus on those epic tits and never look away.'

"Right-o, then, Gand," Nikki replies.

"And thanks for the warning. I'll let you know what she has to say...if I'm not too distracted by those marvelous sweater puppies."

'Appreciated.' Gand slurs. Theres a sound of him shuffling through things on his desk before he adds.

'Oh and tell Seamus to watch his mouth. Aurora doesnt always play by our rules and i doubt she will find his charms agreeable...'

"Ha!" Nikki exclaims.

"Seamus has already pissed her off. called an arrogant bitch or something like that. I was drunk, as usual, so I don't remember exactly what he said. But...yeah, he's not on her good side."

Gand could comment about exactly which side of Aurora is good but just in case any of his comments get overheard or repeated he will err on the side of discretion just this time.

'Figures... well, let me know how fucked she thinks we all are will ya?'

"Yeah, I'll give you a call or stop by the Rabbit when it's done. Wonder what it is that's got her and that creepy saxophone player up in arms...Yeah, I'll talk to you afterwards."

Nikki hovers with her finger over the button to hang up; if Gand says anything else, she'll listen, if not, she's hanging up.

'I imagine its quite dramatic whatever it is...'

Gand clearly has a less than personable relationship with Aurora and company. But he will just thank Nikki and hang up.

After the meeting at the chantry with aurora, Nikki drops back by the White rabbit, looking for Gand. Has she got some bizarro fucked up news for him.

"Gand, you fucker, pick up the phone," Nikki mutters to herself as the phone rings and rings.

[Make up ya mind!]

The line picks up and gets fumbled loudly. Gand sounds like he was either asleep or getting blown when he finally speaks.

'Uh, who, Nikki Hi.'

((Well, checked around the forum and the mage plot seems to have stalled, so I figured why not do this proper?))

"Uh yeah, Gand? I got some bad news, and I've checked that it's true myself. You ready for this? You best be awake."

Nikki sighs, waiting for Gand to seem slightly more aware of his surroundings.

Theres a creak, like he just adjusted a car seat back to an upright position. Gand coughs once, sounding more alert as he says:

'Lay it on me baby.'

Nikki smiles as she hears the creak. Gand probably was getting his knob slobbed when he picked up the phone.

"Well, it looks like that big ass monolith thing Daniel tried to blow up? It's putting out some kind of virus that targets the awakened among us. I took a good look, and we're all infected, and we'd need a Master to get rid of it. Been feeling tired lately? That would be why."

"Aurora says there's an antivirus, that the suits have done this in other cities and she has a pretty good idea of where to find it."

Nikki sounds a little bit more in doubt about this piece of info, but it could well be because she doesn't trust the woman.

"She also says you're going in to the monolith anyway with some kind of demon, so could you please rip out a hard drive or hack one of their computers while you're in there? Yeah, I don't get it either."

Gand sighs and comments.

'Bitch said shed get rid of her ring...'

He doesnt explain why, but he sounds like he knew at least some of that was coming.

'Im not going into the monolith. Im going to help that vampire from the fishbowl get into one of the support structures. I have no intention of sticking around long but ill see what i can do while im there.'

The phone almost falls out of Nikki's hands in surprise.

"You're doing what? with who? I thought she wanted to kill you and you wanted to kill her? What the fuck, Gand. What the fuck. What the fuck does she need to steal from the suits anyway, or whatever?"

She returns quickly to her normal cheerful self, though.

"Well, sabotage some shit while you're in there, dude, if you can." She laughs and goes into a semi-drunken rendition of the Beastie Boys' "Sabotage" before stopping abruptly.

"Oh shit! I've got some pills Aurora gave me to keep the disease from killing us too quick. You want me to drop some off for ya?"

'This is classic Nikki. Youll love it. The vamp has a kid and Aiden, for some fucking reason, decided to tell her her kid is in the monolith.'

Gand chuckles and lets that settle in for a second.

'So i figure, hell, lets take her to the monolith. If shes half as badass as she lets on she will cause some major collateral damage before our buddies in the black suits can drop the hammer on her. Its kinda like killing one bird and brain-damaging another with the same stone...'

"Ha!" Nikki barks out a short laugh. "You know what? Why don't you do your little sabotage and let her take the rap for it? Now that would be perrrrrrfect."

Gand can almost hear the huge satisfied grin on Nikki's face.

"She's got a kid? She must have been human not too long ago, then...I wonder how fast these vamps get really badass. She seems like a bit of a nutcase, though, she should wreak some nice havok before the suits get her. I'm liking this plan."

Nikki chuckles, but her tone turns serious.

"You watch your back in there, Gand, no way we can afford to lose you like we lost Daniel."
