Gand focuses his now spinning will on the effect at hand. One of the drawbacks of his self destructive, drug laden magic is if distracted, its all over. Nikki could probably crack a joke and ruin this all. The effect has passed its crescendo; the clocks are beginning to slow and the distortions building around Gand are becoming less drastic. His hair melts to gray, wrinkles form and flatten as he forces a little bubble of time to sit still and wait for him to call.

Gand pushes the smelter aside. Hes feeling the full effects of the heroin, slipping into a lethargic dreamlike state. A perfect place for him to work his magic but the last place he wants to remain. From his box he produces a bag of white powder and a few yellow pills... the inevitable uppers to keep him from crashing and to further test his bodys limits.

Nikki changes the rhythm of her chanting slightly, adjusting the flow of words and sounds to get Gand through the rest of his effect. She does not need to touch him and disrupt his concentration; they are bound by her the blood on both their bodies, the blood that flows through her veins.

As the effect wraps up time takes a dive back in the other direction. Nikki will experience a profound sense of Deja-Vu as if she had helped Gand with this ritual a dozen times before. Gand sits down at the desk and leans over to blow a long line of cocaine up his nose. His heart will leap up to an unhealthy rythm and Nikkis protective magic will be tested again.

Nikki definitely doesn't like the way Gand keeps getting paler and paler. Even with her help, and she knows it's working, it looks like his body just can't take that many toxic substances at once.

The rhythm of her chanting changes subtly as she weaves different words into a different cadence, building up as she focuses on Gand, focusing in on the runes on his forehead and his side, where his liver lies.

Gand should feel better, more able to focus as his body heals the damage the drugs have done to him.

Gand will look healthier immediately as Nikki changes the tone of her effect. The heroin purges from him system a thousand times faster than it naturally should have.

The surge of health and stimulants from the cocaine seems to have done it. The time distortions swirl into the watch and all the clocks in the office have stopped at exactly the right time. The feeling of Deja-Vu wont fade from Nikki- Maybe she really did do this a hundred times, if Gands time magic is as potent as he likes to say they really could have redone it until it was right.

A bad static cloud seems to hang in the White Rabbit, a massive paradox buildup centered on Gand as he puts the watch, the focus of his stored effect back on his wrist and sucks up his nose a few times as if fighting a sneeze.

Severo's black suburban pulls into the parking lot. He hasn't been here since Alessio's freak out. He's still not sure what exactly happened. The boss didn't say anything except how he was gonna make that fuckin' figlio di puttana pay. But truth be told, Severo was never one for details. Details make his brain hurt.

He reverses into a parking place, making sure he has a clear line of sight with the front door. His home invasion tactic has gone progressively downhill, so he had decided on another route. If he's lucky, maybe he can get this one back to the boss without a fractured skull.

He sits and he waits, keeping his full attention on the entrance.

"Shit, man, how many times did we do this?" Nikki asks, looking a bit spaced out.

"It's done, though, right? All is well? Contingency plan for coocoo vamp time in place?"

Nikki shakes her head, as if that would help her shake the feeling of deja vu that's invaded her perceptions.

She takes a swig from her flask and starts looking for her t-shirt...Though she knows full well where it is now, she remembers taking it off a hundred times before.

Gand nods and pops his neck. The weight of the world, of pissed off, vengeful bent rality is bearing down on his temples and will have to wait at least a few more hours to unleash its fury.

'We did it right, thats the important thing. Thanks for your help tonight..'

Without Nikkis protective magic Gand would likely have spent the next day or so in a euphoric coma with a heart ready to explode. Gand will take a moment to fill a two inch vial with more of the white powder while Nikki finds her shirt.

'You can take all three of those bottles on the shelf. I have a new batch almost ready doiwnstairs and the less i have on hand the less likely that friggen hippie is to come and try to steal them again...'

Gand grumbles, hed still like to smack the crap out of Sean for that little adventure.

"Thanks, man. Call me anytime you need help like this, alright? It's good to stretch my mental muscles like that," Nikki says, smiling.

She's told him that before, hasn't she? She's pretty damn sure she has. Oh well.

She goes and grabs the three bottles of tass from the shelf, and pauses. The gesture just seems so familiar.

"Fuck, there's a glitch in the motherfucking Matrix or something," she mutters to herself.

"Alright, Gand, I'm outta here. Good luck tomorrow, call me if you get hurt," she adds, waving to Gand as she heads for the door to his office.

Gand nods, everything is falling into place. He has just a few more stops to make before he can set his enemies against eachother and send a wonderfully confusing message to the Technocracy.

As Nikki heads out Gand will put his shirt and shoulder holster on..

Nikki pauses in the bathroom to wash the blood runes off of her arms and face...the rest of her torso will wait til she gets a nice hot shower at her apartment.

She stops at the bar for her customary double shot of vodka, chatting inanely with the bartender for the few minutes it takes her to finish it, if that.

Still shaking off the familiar feeling of everything she's been doing for the past few hours, she grabs her motorcycle helmet, tucks it under her arm and heads out the door, waving goodbye to the bartenders before heading to her bike.

I'm starting on my second pack of smokes when this sweaty blonde exits the club. Oh ya, that one's gotta be a dancer. Hopefully I can get this one back to the boss, alive.

I waits patiently for her to mount her bike, following as she takes her leave

Nikki notices the car tailing her, and is briefly afraid that's an undercover cop, because yeah, she's over that 0 tolerance limit.

Doesn't look like an undercover cop, though. Maybe her goddamn stalker has finally found her, all the way from Norway.

At that thought, she accelerates...but she soon slows back down to the speed limit. That whole alcohol in the bloodstream thing.

Nikki is wise to slow down. The Rabbit is located in the center of the downtown area where the city never sleeps. There will be light traffic at least all the way down the strip to the area near the neon burn where Nikkis apartment is, if thats where she is headed.

Severo fights down the urge to run the donnaccia off of the road, the desire to deliver her alive cutting the impulse short. Though it would make things much easier, she would likely crack her fucking head open, and then he's have another dead stripper on his hands. Instead, he continues following her as they make their way through the bright city streets.

Nikki is aware of the car following her, but she can't quite shake him. Though she is driving the speed limit, she does manage to cast a glance behind her when she makes turns and note the car behind her.

She does begin to grow concerned, but..well, she's a big girl, she can handle herself so long as he doesn't kill her outright.

Well then, she;ll just have to get a little tougher, won't she?
She bites her cheek, unseen inside the motorcycle helmet, and swishes the blood around her mouth while focusing on a chant, a mantra within her mind.
