Chris entered the club and started to look around. He was looking for any sign of other awakened and any clue to how things were done in town here.

It was one thing to find out where sanctums and power radiated from it was another to fit in properly. He ordered a glass of wine at the main bar and looked around the place.

The Blue haired Bartender just laughs.

'No really man, What do you want to drink?'

Chris grinned back and said, "You got tequila and a lemon?"
This was not a wine place it seems.

The bartender gives Chris another quizzical look.

'Sure your old enough to be in here?'

Noone ever asks for lemons with tequila, but since the grocery was COMPLETELY out of limes after some freak shoplifting thing its all he has. It has not been a good night for cocktails.

The Bartender, wearing a glowy white tanktop with a small nametag reading "Orphen" will hold up his fingers in the usual: ID pose before he slips off to pour Chris a double shot of tequila with lemon....

As Chris brought out his ID he changed his sight to see the Art of Power and was almost blinded. Switching back he took a chance and said, "Yeah, they loot the fruit. This isn't the traditional place for will to work is it? Know anyone into herbs boss?"

'Excuse me?...' Orphen calls back.

He narrows his eye at the mans mention of will work. He and Xian make a point of not working anything here to keep the suits out... So naturally his suspicions, especially after recent events is raised.

'Thats fake, i think you should leave.'

Orphen says to Chris, without even looking at the ID. He makes one glance over Chris's shoulder, catching the eye of Xian in case there is trouble...

Just then, Nikki waltzes in, humming to herself and juggling a few limes. Her pockets bulge with the unmistakable shape of more limes. She sits down at the bar and waves at Orphen, checks out the new guy, and orders more vodka. She smells as if she has been bathing in the stuff, but seems to be suffering little to no ill effects at this time.

Chris took back the ID and gave a sad smile as he said,
"It's not fake, but I understand.
If anyone needs help get my number from Master Toshi.
He has it," then he turned and started to walk out slowly so as not to startle anyone into starting a fight. Better safe than sorry.

Nikki watches Chris go, confused. "Yo Orphen, someone just walked in here with a fake ID? Niiiiiiice."

"Oh, shit, just to be kosher, then." She fumbles around her pockets, dropping a few limes and picking them back up and sitting them carefully on the bartop.

Orphen watches Chris go and does him the favor of giving Xian the stand down signal. CHris's mention of Toshi makes Orphen even more suspicious.

'So your bitch ass is why i cant get any god damn limes?' Orphen scolds Nikki, pouring her a neat double shot.

'I dont know what that guys deal was but he knew too much... We work real hard to blend in and he just picks us out of the woodwork. I didnt like it...'

Chris leaves without a hassle and thinks about how hungry he is. He saw an Italian place earlier and wonders if they would have space for him. A place called Puttanesca.

She laughs, and empties all of the limes from her pockets, and a bag she'd forgotten she picked from somewhere. She pushes all of the limes on the counter towards Orphen.
"Here you go, you'll be the only bar in town with limes. Good for business!" She says with a winning smile.
She frowns. "Yeah, that sounds like a really stupid Techie if he gave that away, or just a real noob one of us."

Orphen dumps all the limes into an ice bucket.

'Hey good thinking...'

With her comments about Chris being a noob Orphen has second thoughts, kinda. Hes not paranoid often, and usually trusts his gut. He will place the bottle of vodka down next to Nikkis glass as a trade for all the limes.

'He mentioned Toshi, maybe i should give him a jingle on the jangle and see if he knows the kid?.. we might want to keep an eye on him.'

Nikki beams with joy at the bottle of vodka. "Oh hey, could I keep two of those to practice my juggling? I'll only drink half the bottle!"

"Oh, well if he knows Toshi, maybe he's alright. That was the first guy who got called in after the...thing, after all. You want I should follow the kid?"

'Might be a good idea. He calls out Gand like that and he might get himself shot... well, if Gand were normal anyway.'

Orphen rolls three of the limes back across the bar to Nikki.

'Ill give Toshi a call and ill let you know if this is a setup.'

Nikki grabs the limes and sticks them in her pockets."Thanks, man. I better go now before I lose him. I'll be back for that lovely bottle later. Give me a call as soon as you hear from Toshi. If he's bad news and turns on me, I can always turn his entrails into extrails."
She leaves a tip in the jar on the bar, and goes out after Chris.

Orphen just laughs and stashes Nikki's bottle back in the bar. He will point out the limes to the other bartender and slip downstairs to make the call to Toshi...
