Xian will be running the place for a few days. Orphen has a feeling that Sean found something good and if what Aurora said was true, He could use something good right now. Orphen dresses and sits down in the main chamber of the burn, his sanctuary. Its not as great as his club in Vegas was, but then again the tekkies dont kick down his door here so often as they used to.

Orphen selected an odd book from his shelf. The leather bound tome contains lore on scrying; seeing without seeing. Orphens magic is really a work in prgress, he is one of the less experienced mages in the city at this point so he refreshes his memory before he attempts to locate Sean. With the book in front of him he lights both incense and his joint. Inhaling deep on the smoke he blows the white cloud across a crystal bowl of standing water and clears his mind...

Orphen repeats the mantra over and over in his head, his lips twitching as he blows more smoke across the bowl and stares into the water. Orphen smokes the remainder of the joint as if he cant breathe anything but the sweet smoke.

An image starts to form in the water as Orphen leans down. He can see blurred green, trees, tall and strong. Sean has clearly left the city.

Orphen senses come into sharp focus. He can see the trail and the mouth of a cave, the tiny stream and smell the rich earth. Like a tug he can feel the direction Sean walked to get way out there. Orphen mentally tags the location, when he closes his eyes he can see the way like a map.

Orphen will reach down and swirl a finger in the bowl, blurring the image and breaking his spell. He is dizzy from his wake-and-bake and lays back on his couch to dig out his phone. He flicks idly through his contacts until he finds Nikkis number. Wherever she is, her phone begins to ring.

Nikki sleepily answers her phone.

"Mmmmhello?"

It sounds as if she's had another of her trademark let's see how much she can drink before she falls asleep in front of the television nights. In fact, Orphen can dimly hear some inane shit going on in the background.

"Oh hey Orphen," she says, waking up a bit, "What's up?"

'Sean found something in the mountains he wants to show us. I tracked him down but it looks like it will be a bit of a hike, you game?'

The couch creaks as Orphen rolls off it and walks to the center table on his knees to hunt down another little white roll of enlightenment. If anything can cure wake-and-bake lethargy, its wake and toke-til-you-choke.

"Oh God, he probably found a bong," Nikki giggles.

"But yeah, I'm game, get some fresh air, commune with nature, admire his newfound bong...Sounds like fun! Might make us feel better to be away from the virus-spewing monolith for a while, too," Nikki says thoughtfully.

"Meet you at the Burn? Just gotta take a shower and brush my teeth, don't need to have my last night's vodka breath ruining everyone's morning."

'Yeah I smell like fat vagina, ill see you in a bit.'

Orphen will prepare by showering, raiding his own fridge for things to bring for Sean, and kicking out whichever chick the old 'Oh your way to drunk to drive home, why not crash here?' trick worked on.

When Nikki comes across he will be waiting out front of the closed club.

Nikki saunters up to Orphen, her wet hair barely detangled.

"So, you car or my bike, dude?" she asks, her helmet under one arm, a lopsided grin at the prospect of seeing what Sean found painted across her face.

"Is this place near Gand's weird-ass fishbowl house?"

Orphen looks from his riced out Lancer to Nikkis bike, where he would surely be riding bitch.

'Eh your call. This place isnt near anything. At least gands fishbowl you can get to on wheels, we are going to ahve to hike to find Sean..'

Nikki eyes her crotch rocket of a bike, then eyes Orphen's car. She eyes her bike, then eyes Orphen's car. This happenes a few more times, then she decides, though this was an easy decision.

"Yeah, I think your car's probably a better plan, my bike's kind of tiny. And these should do fine for hiking," she says, pointing out her combat boots.

'I figured you Verbena would be cool hiking barefoot.'

Orphen blips his keys and the car starts up. The trip out of town will be relatively quick, Orphen will be forced to abandon his car in a clearing on one of the mountain roads so they can hike to find Sean.

[Seans buggin out wanting us to hurry up, lol, so if you want to start us up or join one of his scenes at 'The Cave' it will probably be a around sunset when we get there after a long hike.]
