The news opens tonight with a live feed of what looks like a horrible accident in the slums. Blondie the newscaster is holding a microphone and speaking excitedly.

'We are the first on the scene of the capture of a man who has rampaged across our city for the last week and a half. After reports of an other shooting tonight the suspect ran into oncoming traffic and was struck by a vehicle.'

The camera zooms in on a man in an expensive coat being given cpr by two paramedics even though his body is well mangled.

An officer can be seen carrying the telltale .357 magnum in a plastic baggie, while a buisness owner freaks out over the damage to his shop.

'Will he survive? has his reign of chaos ended? tune in later tonight for developments in this story.'

Blondie smiles like shes trying to land a plane and the news clicks over to the studio, and a dumbfounded looking Greying newsanchor.

'Well... thats good news at least. ' He clears his throat and begins the rest of the news.

'The red cross is holding a week long blood drive in the park downtown. We are asking any eligible donors to Please, PLEASE donate as our reserves are far below critical levels. Give blood, save a life. ' He smiles...

A picture of a scorched little crater on the street hovers into view.

'Authorities are still baffled about the alleged, assault and kidnapping of an unknown motorcyclist last night. Witness reports are sketchy and involve grenades, a car chase and an eventual beating with a cane. The suspect was the man we all just saw get captured this evening...'

'SO i dont know why the teleprompter would say we're still baffled.. are we all just stupid around here!?'

He yells off camera before he is quickly dumped for commercials...

A public service announcement reminds people of the curfew in effect and the dangers of traveling alone at night. A blonde sells teeth whiteners, and a bald man sells erectile dysfunction pills.

When the news comes back its the colorful asian man taking over the desk. He looks like he just sat on a traffic cone and smiles like an ethiopian in an all you can eat buffet.

'Wellllcommme back!' he shouts.

'In response to the latest kidnapping downtown a special police taskforce has been formed to track down the kidnapper and killer. The taskforce is being headed up by special agent Leon Existenz.'

They flash a picture of the gruff looking young man, who is well known for tracking down a child killer in kansas city, as well as a contract killer in neighboring missouri.

The rest of the news is obnoxiously read soft news trying to downplay the paranoia and pain that grips the city lately...
