Henry pulls up in a parking about a block from the address in the file. He double checks the address and car of the missing girl, then tosses the file onto the passenger seat. He fishes the Smith and Wesson Police Special from under his seat, checks to see that it's loaded, and slides it into the holster under his jacket.

After a brisk walk to the building, he finishes off his smoke and starts shewing a piece of caffeine gum. Upon arriving at the building, he looks for the lot or garage where the tenants park.

Judging by her apartment number she is on the seventh floor of a possible twelve. There are well maintained fire escapes and even an attached parking garage with a skybridge every three floors.

The Garage is well maintained and well lit. With one of those sealed floors that make cars perpetually sound like they are peeling out. There is no guards, just an attendant on the bottom floor who wont even look up from his book when Henry passes...

Henry strolls confidently past the attendant, not wanting to answer any questions(not that he'd have to, by the look of it) and starts at the bottom looking to the left and right down the aisle, looking for the lady's car. After all, if that's not here, he may not have to waste the time going to her apartment.

As he's doing this, he pulls out his cell phone and calls the girl's number.

Henry will find her car on the sixth level. Its a typical, yellow, girly car. Just like hte file said.

The girls phone rings and rings before the mailbox picks up and informs henry that there is no more memory to record messages, please call back later.

With a sigh, Henry puts the phone away and begins looking around the car and the immediate area.

The car has been broken into. Doors and trunk. It looks like someone dumped out and picked through the bag on the seat. Just scattered makeup and other trinkets. The trunk is empty, the spare tire and jack still secure in their place.

Not far from the car Henry will come across a fake fingernail, pink with a teardrop design on it, wedged into a crack in the cement.

Seeing signs of an obvious struggle, Henry looks around some more, for anything from blood to torn papers to recent tire marks, like someone leaving the area in a hurry.

Theres plenty of tire marks. This is a seal coated parking garage after all. He will find no blood, nor any signs of struggle in teh car. Everything looks like it was just picked over by scavengers over the course of a few days...

Henry kneels down and takes the fingernail. He pulls a small, purple velvet pouch, covered in sigils an runes with silver thread, from his pocket and places the fingernail in it.

He quickly takes a look around to see that he is alone, and begins a soft invocation to Barbas, Revealer of That Which is Hidden.

Henry gets a weak flash from the nail. It is from the girl he is looking for, and he gets a flash of intense pain right before the nail was broken from her finger.

He wont have any idea what caused the intense pain, but it was clearly way worse than the fingernail breaking off...

"Well, this can't be good" Henry mutters to himself as he dashes back off to his car.

Back at the office, he might be able to tell about more about this...
