Seamus will arrive back at the apartment/condo with a big bag of what looks like random electronics, cheap circuit boards, usb keys, flash memory, ram, old school parts and pieces of computers, some new shiny things that no one but an Adept or bleeding edge specialist would recognize, the works.

Seamus has enough parts to do just about anything with, and all for the sake of Research and Design for the firm he works for.

He will enter the apartment to find Remote somewhere and will drop the supplies on his workbench and spin up his rig in the corner.

"Hey, I had them stock the fridge with Mountain Dew and you should find ample Doritos in one of the cabinet" Seamus calls out.  Noticing the crate Remote traveled in seems to have been cannibalized for parts, and one of the workbench is strewn with bits of plastic, solder, and some things Seamus is sure are diamonds, he looks around the corner to find Remote sitting on the sofa in front of the massive flat screen TV holding what looks to be a PS3 controller, and oddly enough one of the PS3's in the apartment seems to have gained a few more lights than last time, and why does it have racing stripes....

"Dude, I thought you were gathering some gear, we need to get on this project because I'm pretty sure the Suits aren't going to like us breaking their fancy virus." seamus grins.

Remote clearly found the mountain dew, plus stocked up on caffiene pills, jolt gum, redbull and no-doz.

'Hey bitch I am working!'

He calls out from the couch. Hes still wearing his trenchcoat, but has clearly taken off his pants. His boxers have hearts on them and his legs are pale and skinny...

He jabs buttons and twists with the wireless controller.

'Im almost back into the lab so we can isolate and shut down the virus.'

The TV is a confusing mess of streaking colors and messy data. Something Seamus would recognize as the infrastructure of the web. Remote is piloting what looks like a small spacecraft, seeking out his old entrance into the labs mainframes... assuming they are still running.

Raising an eyebrow and looking at the pantless Remote he will track over to the screen, finally realizing why his PS3 has extra lights and racing stripes.  The web has always been messy, it just takes the right person to be able to read the raw code.

Grabbing a cold mountain dew and a bag of doritos from the kitchen Seamus will go to one of the many trunks in his apartment and drag it over to the workbench.

Unpacking 5 of the little spy cars much like his own baby he will lay them out on the workbench and pull out all the random electronics crap and tools from the bags and bins around him.  Pulling out his "phone brick thing"  Seamus will pull up plans for what looks like small lasers mounted on little tiny robots...

2008-09-23 15:30:12 Seamus rolls 6 dice to Int + Hypertech (PEWPEW) (Diff 7) 8,4,5,10,10, 8 (4 successes)

After a try or two to get the right configuration Seamus is left with a set of little tiny lasers and 5 small cars that have apparently started displaying ^_^ faces from the small holographic projecters on their roof.

Seamus will attach each laser to one of the different cars and wire it into the electronics system of the little apocalyptic battle tanks.

After a little trial and error, and with one car looking very "angry face" at him Seamus finally manages to get the lasers properly mounted on the little cars.  Reaching over and mashing a few buttons on the pulsating black brick of a phone, all 5 of the cars begin humming the Mission Impossible theme before donning small "stealth faces" and driving to the edge of the table.

2008-09-23 15:41:14 Seamus rolls 6 dice to Int + computer (AI) 7,10,9,4,10, 7,2,8 (6 successes)

Hacking the little AI was a breeze, and the five little cars were some of the best spy and sentry robots on the face of this planet.  Seamus will pick up the little death machines and place them on the floor where each of them will head off to whatever location they decided amongst themselves was the best places to be while humming Mission Impossible in their small electronic voices with small purple >.>   and <.< eyes flashing above them...

After punching a few more buttons on his phone and activating the alarm system of his apartment Seamus will sit down at his rig and begin making his way along Remotes tail towards the Labs Mainframe.

2008-09-23 16:17:03 Remote rolls 6 dice to Int+Computer (search) (Diff 7) 4,6,8,5,3, 4 (1 success)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

About ten minutes of clicking, yellong 'Noob!' and squirming around pantless with his ps3 controller remote will call to Seamus.

'I found it. Theres still an open backdoor to whats left of Pelayos lab. We can work our magic through that, looks like the tek virus is just monitoring things... We will have to block them out too.'

"Fucking right, the Suits always did get lazy with the whole "we're better than you" thing.  Well the little buggers are all setup and will watch the perimeter, the alarm system is up as is my central firewall which you've already figured out.  Granted you helped design it but still...."

Seamus will follow Remote to the backdoor to the Labs mainframe and begin crafting a software barrier between that door and the rest of the web, hopefully to keep any other problems from interrupting the "cleaning process".

2008-09-23 17:14:52 Seamus rolls 6 dice to Int + computer (firewall) 9,3,10,10,8, 1,6,4 (4 successes)

"Firewall's up, at least one of them, hopefully i can get a few more layers before you're ready to start."

Seamus will continue to type furiously as Remote works.

2008-09-23 17:30:03 Remote rolls 3 dice to Arete Correspondence 3, coincidental, foci (Ps3) (Diff 5) 10,5,3 (2 successes)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Remote chugs down another can of Mountain Dew and pulls his tanker goggles down over his eyes. He leans down to pop a disk into the ps3, DOOM 3.

'Im ready to go in and start blasting some hostile code. If you wanna join just grab the other controller and get in here!'

Remote sounds excited and amped up on all the caffiene. This is how Vdeps do battle. Remote seems to zone out as he essentially downloads himself into the mainframe through the game. He will hear Seamus far off through his HUD. He racks the digital plasma gun in his hand and starts seeking out the hostile code...

2008-09-23 17:37:09 Remote rolls 6 dice to intel and computers (Diff 7) 5,3,2,4,4, 10 (1 success)

2008-09-23 17:37:53 Monolith rolls 10 dice to Latent security 2,4,8,5,10, 10,1,6,3,10 (4 successes)

Seamus will notice immediate pressure on his firewall. Whatever the Teks left behind is onto them already and trying to get a peek... Multiple warning screens pop up warning of intruders and malicious code flooding in.

Seamus will mash a few more buttons on the rig configuring the firewall to notify him when things actively start trying to break through before grabbing his phone, mashing some buttons and leaping over the back of the sofa and grabbing the second controller on the PS3.

2008-09-23 17:55:03 Seamus rolls 4 dice to Arete , corr 3, foci(phone), coincidental (Diff 5) 7,2,9,10 (3 successes)
========

Popping a few doritos and a swig of Mountain Dew Seamus will grab the controller and dive with Remote.  Visualizing himself in game, his armored boots hit "pavement" and he looks around for Remote.

Seamus's eyes will twitch briefly as a nearby spawn point pops out a plasma rifle much like Remotes and Seamus tromps off after Remote in search of the Virus.

2008-09-23 18:37:43 Remote rolls 6 dice to Anti-Virus DOOM style 6,3,5,4,8, 5 (2 successes) Intel and Computers.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Remotes armored avatar waves Seamus over. The code swirls all around them in nuetral greens and hostile reds. Remote raises his gun and fires gobs of burning blue plasma into the red code, shutting down the virus line by line...

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Seamus can make the same roll, essentially they are writing anti-virus software but in so much cooler a way...

2008-09-23 18:44:37 Monolith rolls 10 dice to Latent security (Diff 6) 5,1,6,4,10, 3,9,6,3,5 (3 success)
-----------------------------------------------------------------

The latent program still rails against the firewall Seamus threw up but shows no signs of finding a way inside.

Seamus will follow the lead of Remote's armored persona and take aim at the swirling bits of red code.

2008-09-23 19:14:00 Seamus rolls 6 dice to Anti-Virus DOOM Style 5,10,6,5,9, 2,6 (4 successes)

Firing large bolts of burning blue plasma into hostile red code the lines simply burn out of existance leaving the green code to fill in the holes and re-assert itself.

2008-09-23 19:21:05 Remote rolls 6 dice to Anti-Virus DOOM style 8,1,10,2,6, 3 (2 successes)
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Remote reloads his rifle and does his best hunting pose over a pile of decomposing red code. They should both be hearing a banging coming from the Dam-like firewall Seamus constructed.

'Lets get this done and break the connection.'

Remotes grainy voice comes over the comlinks in their Doom Armor. Remote cocks his rifle and goes back to blasting red code with glee....

2008-09-23 19:24:09 Monolith rolls 10 dice to Latent security 6,7,8,8,2, 8,9,10,3,9 (8 successes)

No sooner does he start shooting again but the Firewall disintegrates. A new flood of blue code swirls around them ,assessing damage and running panic protocols. The code swirls around their heads and rushes off, they are being traced....

Seamus will drop the controller as his Armored avatar dematerializes.  Leaping over the back of the sofa Seamus will palm a black coin from his pocket and slip it under his tongue when he arrives at his computer.

"Fuck it all they were slower than I thought but dammit they sure came here prepared"

2008-09-23 19:39:49 Seamus rolls 4 dice to Arete (Diff 4, used willpower) 2,7,8,3 (3 successes)

Seamus will begin furiously typing on the hyperpowered computer in the corner, the flood of blue code is visible on his screen...Rolling though a great swath of code Seamus will begin to spot weak spots, vulnerabilities in the blue code running back to...wherever.

2008-09-23 20:01:10 Seamus rolls 4 dice to Int + comp (minus 2) (Diff 5, used willpower) 3,5,5,9 (4 successes)

Seamus is able to see exactly what the code is doing, and how to stop it.  He starts typing as brilliant yellow code bolts past the avatar of Remote, It hurtles towards the fleeing lines of blue code and begins weaving itself in between the Technocracy Trace Program.

In an instant 3/4 of the blue code is demolished and falling apart.  This leaves only a few lines of code that hopefully Remote can take care of while he finishes coding the second Anti-Virus.

2008-09-23 20:10:48 Remote rolls 6 dice to Kill ze code! (used willpower) 5,8,3,7,4, 1 (2 successes) No more virus!

Remote ducks under the swirling new masses of code. From one knee he spawns a new sniper rifle and takes aim at the last bits of red virus code he came here to destroy.

With one great bang its done, the Labs mainframes are virus free, but Remote and Seamus are in danger of being traced. He can do more damage from in here, so he loads up yet another weapon, a nice heavy rocket launcher....

2008-09-23 20:18:23 Monolith rolls 2 dice to Latent security trace 5,5 (failure)

The Blue trace code hits a dead end, the attack it suffered has thrown it off the trail, it circles and circles...

Seamus lets out a whoop as the blue code slowly disintegrates as it circles alot of nothing.   As Seamus keeps typing more lines of glimmering yellow code now spawn near Remote and head the opposite direction towards the lab.

2008-09-23 20:25:24 Seamus rolls 6 dice to Int + comp 9,6,6,3,2, 5 (3 successes)

As Remote and Seamus watch the code takes on a small life of it's own and begins building on itself, likes bricks on a wall, or threads in a tapestry.  It slowly seals the backdoor that the Teks used and re-encrypts the firewalls surrounding the Mainframe with a new hyper-encryption scrïpt he developed.

"Hey, duck out of there, i'll clean tracks, just hurry before they decide to try again."

On the tv screen Remotes armored avatar is doing a hip swiveling victory dance, on the couch Remotes head hits the back of the sofa as he jerks back into the real world. He sets down his controller and finishes his dan ce without pants while the screen flashes the word VICTORY.

'Fuck that was awesome!'

Seamus continues typing as a big yellow broom comprised entirely of swirling code begins sweeping what little remains of their actions here before it disperses into nothing and Seamus leans back in his chair.

"God dammit i hate Teks."

He will head to the kitchen and grab a cold two liter of Mountain Dew for himself and for Remote.

Back in the living room he still sees Remote doing his Victory dance.

"Hey, NoPants, here.."  Handing Remote the fresh Mountain Dew Seamus squashes down in the overstuffed leather armchair and sighs.

"Well, at least now you know that new program of yours works eh?"

'Like a friggen charm.' Remote comments happily.

Remote sits down again, theres nothing like a good direct hack to get your blood moving...

'Think we could use your little cars here to hunt down Pelayo?'

Remote asks, leaning off the arm of the couch to try and grab one of the purple faced rovers.

"Interesting idea, I suppose slight tweaks to the AI wouldn't be that hard to do.  Oi, buggers, one of you get over here."

Whatever processes went on between the little death tanks to decide this was the one to get the job remains a mystery, but sure enough one of the little rovers zooms around the corner of the sofa sporting a bright green :-) over it's head.  Pulling up beside Seamus he will grab it and pull one of it's cables out from below it's shell and plug it into his phone....thing.

2008-09-24 13:00:42 Seamus rolls 6 dice to Int + Computer 1,5,8,8,3, 10,2 (2 successes)

Sure enough the little car hums a ditty as the new AI takes effect and turns the once spycar battle tank into one of the cleverest robotic trackers in Sanfield.

"Hey, you remember what Pelayo looked like yeah?  Could you set the parameters on this little guy?"

Seamus hands the happily smiling and humming car over to Remote, having never seen Pelayo in his life, this makes telling the little robot what to search for rather difficult.

Remote taps away at the phone things keypad, giving the buggy some search parameters for Pelayo. Luckily he is rather unique looking, at least when his skin isnt functioning properly.

As one last little tweak he changes the tune the buggy will hum. No more mission impossible, this one will stand out by humming the 1812 Overture.

Seamus will raise an eyebrow at Remote...

"Really, you're going there.  1812?  You watch to much science fiction there mate."  Seamus grins at Remote, as he and Remote are both well aware, this little guy has now become a Farscape pun that will be roaming around town humming the 1812 overture.

"Well I suppose we should let him get on his way, I've got some extra security I need to set up here if we're gonna shack here for a while.  You gonna stick around?  You're welcome to have one of the extra bedrooms."

'If youve got the space safety in numbers cant hurt.'

Besides, Seamus has all the cool toys, Remote just has a contortionist box with weird lights on it...

'And fuck yes i went there, Pelayo needs to recognize 1812 as a friendly DRD or he may just give it a good stomp and skip town.'

Remote justifies his pun, and goes to open the door for the little rover so it can begin its search.
