While most of the time, Melody would be out, singing for tips by the parks, now and then, she'll sit in with a band.  Tonight is one of those nights.

The band is one of those, well known in their own area, that of the classics of rock and rolls, some ballads, even a bit of country.  A good band, one that has played together, two of them members are, in fact, married to each other.  They have a steady gig at a club in town.  Its not goth, punk or anything like that.  A place to go when you're in a mellow mood, or if you enjoy listening (and dancing) to the older music, well played, with singers who can actually, well...sing.

Well, tonight, Melody is subbing for the usual lead guitarist, and doing some back up singing, as well as singing lead on some songs.  She's known the people in the band since school, so they do all get along, as well as knowing, and enjoying the same songs.  

Its starting out to be a very nice night.

Getting into the music, singing back up, mostly, while doing the guitar lead and solos.  Those songs that make your toes tap and people get out onto the floor and dance.  Footloose, from dirty dancing, Centerfold, yeah, this band does play those songs from the 70's 80's 90's and whatever.  

Along with the faster dance numbers, there are slower songs.  Songs for cheek to cheek dancing...or just sitting and enjoying the music.
