Brother Anthony chases after Desmond, swinging again his hammer buries into the soft wall of the hallway, barely missing Desmond yet again. Twenty feet of hallway is beginning to feel like a marathon....

Brother Anthony is relentless, as Desmond takes off he pulls the hammer out of teh soft wallboard and cahses him down again, catching up to him as he enters the main building. A mere fifty feet of pews seperating him from the front door and the freedom of the streets.

'You will bow before the rightous!'

Anthony calls out, swinging the hammer again as he catches up with Desmond.

Desmond ducks when he looks behind him to see the hammer coming at him again. How he keeps managing to evade each blow is astounding in itself.. though probably quite aggravating to the enraged Brother Anthony.

Seeing himself still standing, he makes that final pelt down the rows of pews towards the outer doors leading to the streets, bursting through to the out doors.

He does not even bother with a reply in words. He knows right now the man will not listen, and preserving his own life is his greatest concern.

Desmond is free. When he bursts onto the street Anthony will no longer chase him. Should he look back he will see Anthony, once again wearing the hood on his rob, with his hands calmly at his side standing in the doorway, watching the revenerend make his way down the street.

And he runs as fast as he could go, even if Anthony did not give chase. He would run all the way back to his own church...
