In the slums for a rundown house with a porch stops a mercedes. Willem gets out of the car and checks the adress and the name, he just took out a phonebook. Seeing it is correct. He presses the bell and puts on his friendly face.

Wilhelm answers the door.  He doesn't exactly live in the nicest of neighborhoods, and being a cop he is prone to the popular brown bag on the porch.  He sees a man outside his door smiling, so he decides to answer it.

"Hello? Can I help you?"

Hi, I am Karel van der Molen and i`m doing some research on behalf of the smithsonian on certain  immigrant families and your last name turned up in our research and i was wondering if could speak about your family. So i could i have a moment of your time and i would be most grateful.

A survey? At this hour?

"What do you want to know?"

Whilhelm doesn't trust this guy, but he figures he'll give him the benefit of the doubt.

Well I`m doing a study on how Dutch families spread out over the USA after they immigrated and we found a name in the books on Parris Island which might be an ancestor of you, only we lost track of the last 3 generations and we are searching for decentdants to fill up those gaps. The questions should take only half an hour and offcourse you would be reimburst for your time.

*Pulls out a crisp 20 dollar bill.*

Wilhelm takes the 20 from the crack of the door while giving Karel a strange look.  He closes the door on him, unlocking it, letting him in.

"You have 15 minutes, I have to be on duty soon."

Then we shall be quick. *Willem moves in and looks around if he can see a table.
"Do you might if we take a seat." * While he pulls out a bit of paper and a pen and moves towards the table.*

"Yeah, sure."

He sits at across from the man at his kitchen table.

First couple of questions: How far back are you aware of your lineage? Do you have any family, either living here or in this city?

"All I know is my parents, God rest their souls, came from Holland.  I have no family in the city."

Oh you are second generation American, do you have per chance some photo`s or memento`s of your parents?
*waites for wilhelm to turn his back.*

"look mister, I have to get on duty, so get out of my house please."

He gets up from the chair and moves to the door, doing his best to keep his eyes on the Suit, momentairly shifting his attention to opening the door.

*Moves up to Wilhelm*
Sir, I would like to thank... * And then suddenly slams Wilhelm`s head hard in the door. He moves up quickly knock the door close.

Willem manages to close the door infront of Wilhelm, keeping him from escaping.  The motives now farily aggressive, Wilhelm takes the moment to punch Willem in the stomach.  He manages to pull in a hit, but could not muster any real force to do any damage.
