Son slowly strolls through the streets of Sanfield Rock, his dirty, callus soles ignoring broken glass and abandoned waste alike. Over the years, one can grow to tolerate walking through shit. Better to walk through it, than end up face down in it.

He had come out tonight, wandering the endless labyrinth of poverty, in order to clear his mind. He had some thinkin' ta do, and as much as he loved Yuri, that guy never shut up. Normally, it wouldn't bother him so much, but this city was getting to him. He couldn't think straight. The signs were there, laid out like stars... all he had to do was figure out what they were sayin'.

As he walked, on and on, he found his mind wandering and his mood fouling. He didn't understand how people could live like this, so cramped, so removed from nature and solace. Overpopulation breeds sickness. Why did they not flee to the woods, to the mountain, where land was plentiful and resources were abundant. Even a migratory lifestyle seemed ideal compared to this.

Before long, Son's mood had turned black. He could feel the anger of Gaia raging inside of him, building like a volcano. He wanted to smash and crush and shred until only ruins remained. When this was all reduced to rubble, nature would come back, overgrowing, overcoming. Within a human generation, the Mother would pull this rock back into her embrace... and no one would ever know it was here.

Son shakes his head, trying to clear the red from his mind's eye. With great show of will, he suppresses his feral instinct and stomps on, deeper into hell.

Son has picked up a tail. Two men like him, in a way. Outcasts, who hate the city around them but still are forced to walk its concrete sidewalks.

Skeezy and Tolsoy are hungry, Son looks like a lost country bumpkin. Bare feet and all. Skeezy, the younger of the two, with perpetual sniffles and droopy blonde hair knudges Tolsoy, the older, paler, far more junkie looking of the two.

Tolsoy twitches, they rehearsed this a few times last night. Tonight they will put it to the test. To Son Tolsoy is just another bum, he brushes past in a hurry and outpaces Son, dissapearing in the crowd. Skeezy stays a dozen steps behind Son, waiting for an opportunity...

Son makes his way to a small park, squashed amongst the buildings. It would be relatively empty at this hour, perhaps he could get some quiet. He needed to go into the mountains. He needed to hunt, to free the beast within... but that would have to wait. His whole pack must be there, as well as the cub... and possibly Alice. For now, he would have to rely on the city to ease his mind.

The empty, quiet park will be perfect. Skeezy and Tolsoy wouldnt dare follow him back into the Rape Street park, not after the scare Reina gave them.

But here, this is different. Skeezy raises his hands over his head like he is stretching, the signal to Tolsoy...

Skeezy hurries up behind Son, stopping just short of running into him.

'Hey man you got change for a dollar?'

Tolsoy, naturally will be waiting for Son to look at Skeezy so he can rush out of his hiding place and attempt to blackjack the man they see as a potential meal...

Well, you didnt beat his successes. So you didnt notice what you dont know your looking for, but regardless. Werewolf vs thinbloods, these guys are beyond fucked.

Skeezy tries his best to keep Sons attention, Tolsoy will strike as soon as he saw Sons head turn. Tolsoy leaps from the brush with a heavy tarp. What better way to take someone out than with the old Bag 'em and Beat 'em tecnique.

Initiatives Plz!

2008-09-24 14:03:57 Radiation rolls 1 die for Initiative 9 (initiative roll) Tolsoy init= 9+5=14.
2008-09-24 14:04:34 Radiation rolls 1 die for Initiative 1 (initiative roll) Skeezy init= 1+4=5.

To remove the tarp (on his initiative and counting as an action) Son can roll strength and brawl, getting 3 or more successes he can untangle himself.

Tolsoy snatches the axe handle from the glass, adjusts his grip and slams the heavy end into Sons ribs through the tarp.

These are not muggers, these are not even true vampires. They dont want their prey to survive, with Skeezy being infectious they only feed from the dead. Fresh dead tastes just as good as alive anyway....

Even as Son drops down and gurgles under the tarp the pair keep swinging, now with great overhead swings crashing down on the prone Son.

Son holds his concentration as the two thugs beat him. As he weakly thrashes with the strikes, he calls upon the wolf inside him.

Son takes 4 lethal damage due to the botched soak. He is WOUNDED and takes -2 to all physical dicepools.

The first hit hurts Alot. The pipe connects with Sons spine, cracking bone and spasming nerves. The thinbloods may be fangless whelps, but they still have no need to pause for breathe, any hesitation they had fades while Son still moves under the tarp.

They keep swinging.

Soaks are a Reflexive roll and act outside of initiative, they are rolled as soon as damage is dealt, so technically they happen during my turn before your actions.

EDIT---> Incorporating your saved action here and letting you shift before hand doesnt really help.

You heal one level to Injured -1, Shift to Crinos before taking 5 more bashing damage. You soak 2 levels as per your roll and are crippled -5. You failed your second soak which renders you below incapacitated so you are unconscious and have lethal damage filling your boxes up to WOUNDED-2 after your heal (Which you may not be able to do while unconscious).

From here i know if you were mortal, mage, ghoul or vampire youd be done. Werewolves get some kind of rage roll, i think and once Mnemon or Lethargg can verify for me, you can roll it and spring to life or, you might be dead. Im really not sure.

Ok, ive got my facts straight now. Son is down, but gets his last ditch, frenzy/rage roll to jump up and go berzerk.

So Son, please roll your rage (which im told is 3, at diff 8) each success will be a level of damage healed and you can freak ze fuck out on some thinbloods.

Sun-of-the-South lets out a bone rattling roar, as he shreds his feeble cloth prison with his razor sharp talons.

He's dunn fuckin round wit these folk.  

In moments, the tarp is reduced to pieces. Bowed in a crouching position, the creatures slowly rises. Standing fully upright, it towers nine and a half feet tall and easily weighs six hundred pounds. It is covered in fur, the head and torso rust red, the legs and flank an earthen brown. White splotches mark strange patterns across its chest and back. Its fangs are sharp, glistening daggers. White frothy foam oozes from the corner of its mouth, bubbling between its teeth.  Its massive claws are hungry for blood. They quiver in anticipation. Its grey eyes glow fiery in the moonlight... eyes filled with rage.

As the Horror that is now Son rips from the tarp in all his furry walking machine of death glory there is zero hesitation from Tolsoy or Skeezy. They do exactly what they should do.
