The pale street lights cast little illumination into the dark night. Thick black clouds blot out the moon and stars. The humid air smells of dust and coats your skin with each gust.

Solomon would need little stealth to remain unseen in this gloomy landscape, but still, he takes no chances. Shadows reach out as he passes, the light around them bending to disguise his form. Sword in hand, he makes his way towards the dragon's cave. False prophets had gathered to preach its vile litany. Mad men, worthy only of a swift death. What more, they had assaulted a holy man, perhaps even destroyed a house of God. Solomon knows that their is more than just one type of evil. The attack and the bombing seemed perhaps coincidental. The time lines didn't add up. Perhaps one snake had struck at the nest, while another occupied the bird. Perhaps... But these musings were moot. For now, he would have to concentrate all of his will on the task at hand. He attunes his sight to see past the darkness.

The Church of Paradise is an odd one indeed. As Solomon draws near he will hear the sounds of Joyous singing.

The squat, plain, prefab building is packed with worshippers. The doors are open to the night, a few people stand on the steps and look inside. The giant video screens are alive with visions of multiple incarnations of god all joining the motley parish in song.

The Lot the main building, and its four supporting structures is located on is fenced off. Not that that would stop Solomon from entering the 'under construction' areas with the piles of supplies and heavy digging machinery, but he will need to climb or cut to gain access.

Beware of the false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly are ravenous wolves.

Solomon suppresses the urge to reveal himself, to charge valiantly into the dragon's lair. These false gods fill him with utter hatred. He can feel the need for blood, the need for vengeance growing stronger inside of him... but he he has learned to be patient. Running headlong at the beasts would end only in his quick death. A true warrior must be wary and cunning, waiting until the right moment to strike. Waiting until the dragon's heart is bare and unprotected.

Cautiously, he makes his way in to the construction area, quietly slipping over the fence.

Picking a dark portion of fence is easy, climbing over the somewhat flimsy and unstable fence is less than easy.

Please roll dexterity and stealth at diff 7.

Solomon will find a stable spot and slip over easily. The construction area is mostly deserted tonight. There are piles of tiles, two by fours, plywood and other supplies stacked all over the place. The center of the area seems to be a big excavation project...

Three men by the backdoor to the church building stand joking and smoking cigarettes.

Solomon eyes the "men" warily, creeping closer for a better look. They appear mundane enough, but that is all too often the case with monsters. He had to be careful, dragons were nefariously cunning and dangerous. They never left their hordes unguarded, never left any chances to fate. They survived eons by being more clever than heroes... but, thankfully, the heroes always had luck on their side.

Solomon attunes his gaze to better understand these men before him.

Solomon recieves a confusing mix of information. He cant get a fix on his first target, perhaps its the mans placement slightly behind the other two. His second targets aura is boringly normal. Just a bright, mortal aura. His third is also bright but yellow in color...

The man with the yellow aura finishes a joke and all three laugh uproarously. They will snub out their cigarettes and head back inside as noise from inside the church intensifies; leaving Solomon presumably alone in the construction site.

Once alone, Solomon will begin to investigate the construction site for anything out of the ordinary or suspicious. All too often, these monsters hide secret passes throughout their lairs... Or perhaps, the site was just a cover for a massive excavation of some ancient tomb... This site could be a place of power... Or a place of power...

Solomon, takes hold of himself, shaking his head to clear his frantic thoughts. Had he said that last bit aloud? He wasn't sure. Regardless, he had to focus. He had to keep his wits about him. Calming his nerves, he resumes his exploration.
