After she's done surveying the new apartment Cassandra heads out onto the streets.  She drives around for a little bit, getting herself acquainted with the layout of the city before pulling the little crotch rocket into a secluded spot and hopping off.  She begins walking, no particular direction.  Just walking.

Cassandra has always been the wanderer, physically, emotionally, and socially.  She gets bored easily.  Maybe that's what was always wrong with her.  If she stayed in a place too long, if she did the same thing for too long, she'd get bored.  And she hated -- hated being bored.  Life had too much to offer to sit around doing the same thing over and over.  

Which is why she came here.  She'd seen just about all the major cities, so she'd decided to start bouncing around to some of the smaller little out of the way places.  She'd grown up in New York, so that place was an old hat.  L.A. had been one of her first sojourns, and she'd hit Vegas, Miami, and New Orleans on the way there and back.  If there was anywhere she'd be able to settle down it was New Orleans perhaps.  That place seemed to have enough variety to satisfy her.  Not to mention a kickin good fetish scene.  But she wasn't ready to settle down yet, and until then she wasn't going to visit New Orleans anytime soon.

So this little place seemed as good as any.  She was pretty sure she hadn't done anything in Georgia just yet.  She'd been to Savannah back some time in high school for vacation or something.  But that had been before she'd hit her real wild streak.  So no, she hadn't brought her special little brand of fun to this state.  Not yet, anyways.

Cassandra wears a black tank top with a white star against the word "fucker," the NIN logo printed on the back (see pic below), and short denim skirt with a faded camo pattern, the bottom edge frayed and worn. Torn fishnets and heavy combat boots with buckles up halfway to the knee round out the mix and match ensemble.

She walks through the warren of city streets and alleys, heading for some of the more run-down looking areas.  From her experience, that's where you can usually find the most...fun.  She needs to find what's up in this city if she's planning on staying for any length of time.  She gets bored so easily, she has to find something to occupy her nights with.  Aside from boy-toys and fuck buddies.  But that's another issue for another time.

Sure she could hit a club or a bar.  That would be the simple answer.  But that leaves no spontaneity, no opportunity for chance to roll its quirks.  She was probably the only one who could call a night of clubbing and bar hopping a structured activity.  

Instead, she likes these nights on the street.  It's a good place to think, a good place for a certain kind of inspiration to hit.  And its the perfect place to take advantage of that inspiration.  Anything at all could set it off:  a piece of rebar lying in an alley, an old brick, a car left all by its lonesome on an empty street...

Yes, all good things.  All very, very good things.

Rebar and parked cars can only offer so much amusement. As Cassandra wanders past a crumbling tenement she will hear something much more interesting than mumbling crackheads and buzzing streetlights.

'Come on man, your zero for three. Put down your drink, get the fuck up and hit me. Im no Mike Tyson but you need all the help you can get!'

The voice, obviously male and a little inebriated comes from an open bulkhead leading into the basement of the tenement. The bulb on the steps burned out months ago so Cassandra could easily come down the stairs without being seen if she wished.

Cassandra pauses a moment, and a smirk crosses her plush bedroom lips.  She'd been about to give up on finding anything sufficiently interesting tonight, and was just on the verge of making up her mind to initiate some of her own amusement.  But, this could well prove to be rather interesting...

Cassandra steps up to the doorway, hanging around the outside for a little bit to hear the conversation further.
