I squeeze myself out, landing four foot above the floor. I begin to reform my body, contorting it back to my original form. Glancing about, I try and develop a sense of my surroundings. My general location in regards to the tenement above.

The sewers under the slums are in about as good repair as the buildings above. The sludgey water runs just over knee high. The ceilings are short, anyone over six feet tall ahs to walk at an uncomfortable angle. One good rainstorm and the whole area backs up with sewage...

The walls are chipped and cracked. Alcoves broken out or caved in in some spots. Strange debris floats about. Everything from branches to bicycles could be found down here.

The deeper water is of course a perfect place for Nosferatu laid traps. They would be near impossible to see...

 I look about for an alcove, one that would suit my purpose. Somewhere alone, that no one would find. A quiet place to think. Somewhere I can gather my creatures to me.

Alcoves are everywhere, but so are traps.

As Jacob steps through the murky water he feels something tighten around his left foot like a snake. before he has a chance to do much he will be yanked and overturned. The waterlogged rope has lain in wait for years and while it might have ripped him upsidown and possibly drowned him in the shallow water it is nowhere near strong enough and quickly unravels.

jacob will be quickly overturned and uncerimoniously dropped headfirst into the water.

Surfacing I quickly scan my area, looking for whomever set the trap. Not seeing anyone, I can only assume it was the ones that have been following me. They obviously were uncertain where I would be, so have set random annoyances to lure me into the open, I am much more clever then that. I know that they can cloak themselves for I can remember but faint echoes of them. This time I will be ready, I will need a few things first though. I will head back to the hole to the tenement noting the manholes. Although I can fit through the hole Bear traps can't, and I will need a few more things. That should teach them a lesson.
