Home.  The temporary haven that once belonged to another was...crude at best in her mind.  Not nearly the space she'd need to let the creative juices flow freely...not nearly what she'd need to avoid not only interruption...but...to avoid THEM as well.  Paranoid much?  Well, yes...being careless, carefree and unheeding of caution definately wasn't going to keep her in this world...and so...with thoughts as to what she'd like already in mind...Beau flipped on the laptop, and began browsing the local classifieds, and real estate listings, and government forclosures with the map of the underground system open next to her...It would be more ideal to build what she wanted, but she was a seamstress, not an architect...so she'd have to find a starting point for that lovely little place to call home.

Each listing was reviewed carefully with the preset check list in her head...

• Was it close enough to be able to reach sewer access without too much work?
  

• Price Range?
  

• Size?
  

• For sale by owner?  Bank? or Governement?
  

• General location/neighborhood? ((it's bad if you have to eat the neighbors to be left alone))
  

• Extras?
  

• Condition?
  

• Running Water? Phone lines/DSL availible?
  

• Below...what was the area below near it like?
  

• Inhabited?
  

• Marked with traps?
  

• Workable?
  

It wasn't a long list by any means...but it was certainly a step in the right direction....

Beaumont had a list of four places dotted throughout town by the time she finished her search...though it wasn't certain that any of them would meet all her requirements...and be affordable.  What did that mean?  It meant that over the course of the next nights between her media stalkings and whatever else came up...she would need to get a closer look at things...and of course hope that no one else snatched them up in the meantime...

Beau returned, slipping back into the comfort of her temporary haven before powering up the laptop.  She had little to do...damn she couldn't wait to get out of here...to have her own little bit of space to do up the way she wanted.  

She started going through her emails...really she just had the one to send out tonight to a Mr. Abigail, the owner of the house she'd gone to look at earlier today.

Beau would look at the message a couple of times before hitting send.  Then spend a few minutes surfing the web.

The next evening the first thing Beau would be checking would be her emails...before hunting, before resuming her investigation to the other homes she was looking at...priorities.  The first and foremost was still making sure that where she lay her head during the day was...safe, secondary was that it would function for what she needed it to.  Apart from that, everything else in her mind at least...was just a footnote of comfort.

Smiling as her eyes trolled over the computer monitor, she came to the conclusion that there was truely no need to look into the other locations...no.  She would have that one...plain and simple.  A few moments later and she was sending the information needed to secure the premisis, and making the payment to cover rent for a few months...it was nice to have a nest egg built up, even if it was just enough of one to get you settled in...

The next nights would be spent moving in...and working.
