Pulling into the parking lot is a mildly rusted out Yamaha, old and dented, the rider looks no better still young just worn.

*Kyle heads into the bar wincing at the loud techno (obviously not his style), making rounds on all the floors sizing up the patrons compiling a list of the apparent who's who of this bar.*

*Taking a moment to harass the bartender of the sky bar for a draught beer, Kyle waits at the bar lurking over his beer and observes, hoping something interesting will present itself tonight.*

The upstairs of the Red Zone is a never ending storm of bodies. The mass of people swirls and throbs in time with the music to the point where if you blur your eyes just a little... you dont see individual people, just a conformed mass like one entity.

The easiest people to notice are not the revelers, but those who stand still. Kyles eyes will unerringly end up on Tommy Jones. A staple here. Its amazing he hasnt claimed the place as his domain yet.. he never seems to leave it.

He is near his usual place. Standing against a wall tonight with tatooed arms crossed over an absurdly colored camoflauge tanktop. His eyes are thinly veiled behind a pair of red tinted sunglasses.

“The dead always seem to stand out to me these days. This character across the bar is at the least a pusher and somebody ‘in the know’… somebody I should know.”

*Kyle slowly approaches Tommy with his head down lighting a smoke, stopping just a few feet in front of him as to be impossible to miss.  Raising his head the cherry of the cigarette glows through a cloud of smoke.*

*A subtle smirk crosses Kyle’s face as he locks eyes with Tommy most assuredly a testament of confidence and not hiding at all that he is reading all that his face has to tell, Kyle begins to speak before he is even acknowledged.*

“Ahh these places are all the same in every city are they not, I’m always drawn to gathering spots in hopes of meeting kindred spirits, like souls as it were.”  

“So tell me friend, you seem to be the person to know here if you need something, and I am in need of introductions to those who are shall we say ‘in the know’.”

*Kyle pauses to exhale a bit of smoke through a toothed grin*

“I’m Kyle.”

 From across the bar I notice Tommy's new friend, perhaps a bit out of the normal for him. I have always liked the guy and with all the new faces in town I set my drink down and let the blonde that wants me to drone on about her new Gucci purse, its a knockoff but she thinks she is hot and I know she will not be difficult to bed.

I look over at him slightly to let him know I am watching should things turn bad.

'Kyle, youve come to the right place.'

Tommy never shakes hands with strange kindred; and Kyl;e didnt reach so its a perfect meeting. Tommy meets the new kindreds eyes without hesitation. He doesnt seem like the mindrape type, or Tommy would have pointed him at Valentine already.

'You another refugee from that port city?' he asks.

Tommy motions to the empty table not far from his spot. The telltale pornstar jacket over the back of his chair marking it as his usual resting place.

Tommy tosses a nod to Valentine as he turns. He knows Valentine would join them eventually. They are two approaches to the same welcome wagon so he might as well just get it over with.

 "Excuse me honey, I need to speak with someone," as I leave her to talk with the bartender. She will be there when I return, or there will be another, there always is.

I walk over to the table, martini in hand "Tommy, so who's your friend?"

"Not a refugee just a rambler of sorts, been looking for a local more to my tastes for a bit now. Sanfield seems like a decent place to get established, and of course being new here requires that I adhere to certain etiquettes."

*Kyle takes a seat and watches the young valentine approach, sizing him up on his way over to the table*

 I am dressed in the latest Prada, with a nice Rolex watch and a dashing set of Gucci shoes.

"Yeah, you probably don't want to bring any attention before you meet the royalty at least," with a laugh. He sips on his martini and looks down at his watch.

"So, where exactly are you from?"

"Well I got my start in Minneapolis, been traveling for a bit now though so I haven't called a place home in quite a while."

*Kyle diverts his attention and flags down a waitress and orders another beer, when she leaves he lights another smoke and looks back up at valentine.*

"So, it looks liked I lucked out running into you two.  I am in need of a *ahem* royal introduction."

*Kyle gives that smoky toothed grin with a cigarette in between his teeth as he looks up to Valentine.*

Tommy has been wary of newcomers. Especially of leading them to Elysium. For all they really know Kyle could be yet another sabbat scout...

'Your in luck, the big shindig goes down tommoro night.'

Tommy glances up at valentine before revealing the location. hers usually a much better judge of people who dont come crawling in looking for heroin...

"Yeah, we usually get the meet and greet routine," laughing and looking toward Tommy.

"Seems you are in bit of good luck, we are having a pot luck tomorrow and I can call ahead and let them know we are expecting a guest. They don't really like surprises, but I can't blame them. I'll be back in a sec," as he reaches into his pocket and brings out his Iphone. He dials up Zaine and leaves a message.

"Zaine, yeah this is Valentine. Me and Tommy have an interested party in the shindig tomorrow, we are over at the Red Zone, if you have a minute swing by. Alright I'll see you in a few," hanging up his phone and placing it back in his pocket.

He returns to the table, "Well should be here in a few. So why Sanfield?" looking over the mans aviator look, interesting if it had not gone out of style back in the seventies and even then it was retro.

"Oh an old friend of mine suggested I give it a look over. Do you know of Mathew Slater?"  

*Kyle takes a drink of his beer and leans back a little, looking a little more relaxed than before*

 "Slater ehh,  yeah he runs around here. He usually keeps to the rougher areas of town. He runs that biker gang, what are they called?" looking to see how well he knows the dead punk. Anyone can name drop but a good friend would be able to name them.

"Last time we talked he was rambling about a punk band, Dead Punks or some sh*t"

"That, I suppose, is how we we get along with each other. Similar degenerate tastes, and fashion, or lack thereof depending on your perspective."

*Kyle chuckles at this, knowing full well that this fashionista probably doesn't think to highly of his utilitarian choice of wardrobe.*

 "Yeah thats him, to a tee. He is always running around with them, hardly ever see them apart. So you looking to set up here then?"

He gets the drift that this guy has probably been rolling through towns and not found exactly what he is looking for, or he is on the lamb from someone, knowing Slater, either is likely.

"It is a possibility, so far things are looking on the up and up, all will be determined tomorrow I suppose. First impressions can make or break you."

*Kyle goes back to his drink for a moment, lets his eyes follow the back side of the waitress walking by.*

"Slater said I'd get along fine here so I had to come check it out."

 "Well he has been around here for a little while at least. Sanfield is quickly growing into a larger town, not up to Atlanta yet but its getting there. I still prefer Milan or Monaco when I get the chance. I would really like to see a bit more culture get imported here, it can get really dull at times," not knowing how he will take it but if he knows Slater he might be of similar tastes.

"I do like the cities, and this one is a good size small enough to stay off the radar but big enough to still provide for more opportunities. Haven't made it as far as Europe, with this condition of mine traveling can be a bit ... cumbersome ... so for the moment my ventures have been restricted to the states which are not always as inspiring as one might hope."

"You'll have to excuse me for a moment I have to liberate some room in my gullet, oh how I used to love a good drink now its just a tease ... "  

*After a long quirky gaze at his beer glass Kyle heads to the bath room where he regurgitates the few drinks he's had, and returns a few minutes later.*

"Culture is a double edged sword, its easy from a subjective standpoint to admire the struggles of the kine but on the same token they are a poison unto themselves which makes that same sympathy a slap in the face."

*Kyle seems to be wandering off in thought staring at his empty glass, with an agitated look, perhaps reminiscing*

 "I understand, I am just a sipper," before he leaves.

"Culture is what sets us apart, they are what they are as I am what I am," he responds while again sipping on his martini, you do notice that he is spitting the same swallow back as he drinks.

"They love me though and who would not, I am debonair, wealthy, and great looking, what else could they ask for," feeling he is on top of the world. He knows he is adored by everyone and the sooner they get that through their heads the better off he will be.

Zaine walks into the bar Wearing a pruple suit, and black fedora. When he spots valentine he will walk towards them he sizes up the new comer not hiding it as he does so.
