Cole hadn’t been long in the city. He found the club without much trouble. The skull pounding music from the dance floors, the crowded masses of people… He was sure he wouldn’t like it even before he entered. But sources told him, this was the place to be…

He would walk in with a slow purpose, scanning the crowd with a subtle interest. He is inclined to avoid the dance floor, but he would want to check out the entire place before settling. And where he ends up finally is at the bar, keen eyes taking in figures of note as he begins his approach, signs in their appearance, posture or attitude that would tell him they were the ones to talk to…

 I notice the man dressed in a suit, not exactly clubbing clothing. I glance at him from across the bar, my drink not touched. I am dressed in a white Gucci shirt and some Prada slacks. He looks dressed to kill and the two woman at his side suggests thety like his appearance as well.

He hadn't made any effort to make himself blend in. Maybe his goal was to be noticed tonight.

Cole will notice at first he is being watched, though the man wearing designer clothes will gain his attention anyway... as well as a few other subtle things about the man.

He had rolled a cigarette moments ago, and takes a moment to light it, dragging from the smoke slowly, in no real hurry to approach.

 I whisper something in the girls ears and they giggle heading off to the restroom. I grab my drink and start around the bar, headed for this new man. As I approach I nod at him.

"Mind if I take a seat?" indicating the barstool next to him.

A sideways glance as the giggling girls leave the scene. He just waits until Valentine approaches him, slowly exhaling a white stream of smoke.

He turns his head when Valentine speaks, a faint up nod of his head.

"Be my guest..." The phrase was a subtle joke, if anyone is the guest it is him, and even then he is yet to be welcomed as one... but otherwise, there is no lack of respect in the response. In fact his tone is pleasant enough.

 He takes the seat, "I don't think I've seen you around here before. My names Valentine, can I get you a drink?"

He seems harmless enough and after being here for as long as he has he can spot outsiders usually.

He looks at the bar, tapping ashes from his cigarette into an ashtray. Then he turns to further study the man beside him. "No thank you."

"Name's Cole." He says as way of a brief introduction. "And yes, I am new in town. Currently seeing my way to getting better... acquainted."

"Well theses are some trying times, are you from Atlanta? I hear that the neighborhood all gone to shit. Seems that the immigrants are all moving in. Here let me get you a drink, even if you just sip it," as he waves the bartender down.

"My freind here will have a whiskey, cask aged and nice, and put it on my tab," and the bartender gets to pouring. He sets a nice low ball glass in front of you with no ice. He knows Valentine and has been explained about illusions. Whether you drink it or not.

"Not Atlanta." He states simply. He watches as the bartender pours the drink. "I wouldn't run when times get tough."

He drags on his smoke, looking down at the glass set before him. Going along with the illusion, and not about to appear rude, he lifts the drink as if to sip, though he never actually imbibes any liquid. He raises the glass in a faint salute in thanks.

 "Well things are certainly tough around here, if your needing introductions to the royalty I can help, but you have to go through the the channels. You want me to make a call, I could maybe set something up," he really doesn't know the guy but Zaine can certainly get this guys tongue wagging if anyone can.

He gives Valentine a faint smile... "I would greatly appreciate it if you did. I am in mind to perhaps stay a while... introductions only seem appropriate."

He doesn't seem the type to give away too much all at once. In a different venue he may feel more open...

 "One second then," as he steps up and away for a minute pulling out his Iphone and dialing Zaine.

After another minute he returns, again taking his seat."Well, you know where Capt. Redundant's smoker parlor is? I spoke to a guy thats expecting you. Make certain and be on your best behavior, he's been known to have a temper if you are yanking his chain."

Cole waits. He turns slightly when Valentine returns. A faint smirk curls the corner of his lip.

"I wouldn't worry." He says, as he moves to stand up from his seat.

 "Whatever you say friend, I just was giving you a warning.

Good Luck," as the man stands.

"You are looking for a fellow that usually looks like he fell out of the thirties. You might say he is a one man riot," with a chuckle thinking himself funny over the pun. We can both play mysterious.

He raises a brow. "That so? This should be an interesting meeting..." He smirks, then nods to Valentine.

"Thank you for your help... and the drink." The drink which looks mostly untouched. He snuffs out his cigarette in the ashtray, then leans back and begins weaving his way to the exit.
