The Regent sits at his desk, reluctant to call another meeting of the Primogen, but this demands immediate attention. He wonders over the location, Sascha might not mind, but if Carter is missing it might seem like a ploy to establish the Ventrue as acting Seneschal. I do not want to appear disloyal, even in his absence. I believe all the other venues could either be compromised or would elicit abstaining from a needed faction. It is considered a faux paus amongst elders to call and host a meeting, though I fear it is unavoidable. I contact all the elders through their normal means and invite them for an evening in the garden at the Chantry, to discuss recent events and how the elders of Sanfield shall meet the challenge. I also invite the Prince, though ask that he appear an hour after the elders. The other positions shall receive no invitation. The elders must exercise their power. The prince rules by our support and this night he must earn it. We must act as one, lest anarchy rule and society be damned.

Randolf arrives about 20 minutes after receiving his call. He walks in and takes a seat next the Regent as not to be rude. "I thank you for inviting me out to your place this evening kind sir." Randolf says with a sense humility.

"Good evening Randolph, it appears you are the first to arrive. I do hope Prince Carter received his invitation as well. We will have much to discuss."

The Brujah Primogen, Marlena will for obvious reasons refuse to make the trip to the Tremere chantry. Even in a time of war her clans hatred of the regent is not taken lightly...

Sasha, the Ventrue Primogen arrives with two bodyguards who will be waiting by her car. She smokes and looks very paranoid... concerned over a missing clanmate...

The Nosferatu may be here by proxy again... but they appear late, as is their usual style.

The Toreador are still without a primogen....

And last, suprisingly, the prince responds immediately. He will be there.

I would have invited Mr. Arturo as acting Toreador, unless anyone voices an objection at the meeting then whomever has the support of the acting primogen and the power to hold a primogen seat, is by proxy "a member of the Primogen".

Rose will come to the meeting, knowing this is going to be awkward.  She has a letter from Thomas Arturo, giving her permission to attend, as representative from the toreador.

Not for the first time, she's wondering, why her?  She has no political ambitions, no actual experience in such.  She and her sire are together in that.  Being a toreador is being an artist, as he always stated.  Art is more important than the political shovings and graspings of others.  Yet, here she is.

Can there be some glimmering of reaching after power?  Or is it just the curiousity that drives her?

Sasha, the Ventrue Primogen is her usual bitchy self. She holds by far the weakest seat in the city... she seems paranoid, flipping an unlit cigarette beetween her fingers like a pencil she waits. Sitting somewhere away from Randolph...

The evening is cool, and the stars hang in the sky. The garden is awash in fresh blooming jasmine and citrus that saturates the air. In the distance you can see what appears to be a well manicured maze garden and various topiaries spread throughout the grounds. Ther is a large oaken table with seating for all. There is no source of light save the crescent moon, and the lights of the Manse far off in the distance.

Rose will offer the letter she recieved from Thomas, 'Mr. Arturo was unable to get here this evening, and asked me to be here in his stead' Under the stress of the evening, her usual laid back drawl is more noticeable, nothing near the more elegant southern type, more the 'summer of love' lazy way of speaking that epitomizes her generation.

A glance around at the 'movers and shakers' of kindred society.

"Good evening Mrs. Moreau, I hope all is well. I appreciated you hosting on the last occasion, but I thought I should return the favor."

"Welcome and good evening Mrs. Meadows," you observe all the primogen look over you."I assume you know everyone? Please be seated. I appreciate your timely appearance, and look forward to hearing your opinions. Let me be the first to welcome you." he bows slightly and holds her chair out, for her to be seated. "I fear we have a wayward Nosferatu, Marlena shall be abstaining, she and I are not on the best of terms and she does not particularly feel safe here."

Rose will smile, thank him, sweetly and sit down.  Gazing around the table at the others.  Now, to see if she has anything to say at this meeting.

Hyde very much dislikes this part of town. Most of the sewers near here are 'modernized' meaning too small to allow the to be used as byways. The surface is peppered with security cameras, both institutional and private. Luckily there are many choices when it comes to accessing satellite imaging on the internet, and Grey happened to find the request quite amusing.

The circuitous route was tedious, though less so than it would have been avoiding detection via the main roads, the ten-foot wall provided little challenge, and though he approaches unseen to organic eyes, the electronic ones detect him all the same.

Well before he makes it to the garden, Thaddeus has been quietly informed that the "Large gentleman in the body armor that was recently our guest approaches from the Northeast."

"Ahh, it appears Mr. Hyde will be joining us shortly," as the large man comes walking up through the grounds. "It seems we are all here then, everyone please take a seat, I hereby call this meeting to order." as the Regent takes his seat. Mr.Hyde will notice that his chair has been heavily reinforced in anticipation of his special needs.

"I have called this meeting to discuss the recent events concerning the siege of the town. It would appear that the amber alert met with some success. Our other tactic seemed to work in our favor as well. For that I will let Hyde tell his tale." motioning toward the lumbering grotesque monstrosity seated but a few yards from everyone.

Tossing his greatcoat over the back of his chair, he grins and nods to the regent, high praise, all things considered.

Perhaps it is the occasion, this setting, the events of recent weeks, or maybe he is just in a foul mood, but tonight, Hyde makes absolutely no attempt to hide his true form. This may well be the first time many of the Primogen have seen his true hideousness and size, to say noting of the unnerving fact that he is wearing massive steel plating.

Taking his seat, he explains to the table that the mines were successfully collapsed (pausing momentarily to smirk at Randolf), that he found what later turned out to be two Sabbat trespassers in the sewers and turned over the one that survived to the Regent for questioning.

Turning back to Thaddeus, he says. "I know not the intricacies of your magics, inherently I brought him to you because your blood can bend the will of others far better than my own. Perhaps it is best that you explain to the council what was gleaned and why it is nigh infallible."

"With some persuasion, we were able to glean that he was from Atlanta, and that more are coming. Atlanta has been under siege for quite some time, so I can only surmise we were effective in our strategy. I was able to confirm he knew someone named Collio, which confirmed that we do indeed have moles within the city. We also were able to find that he was to contact a demon at the Commons Motel, I find it a bit far fetched, and assume this might be someone whom was not a pleasant type. Whatever the case, Hyde has been conducting surveillance and will continue until what time we see fit to eradicate whatever is dwelling there. That was about all, after that our tactics had finally wore him down and he no longer was in a coherent state. He died in pain and agony nearly a day later. Does anyone have anything further they might wish to contribute?" he glances around the table at the assembled forum.

'So we have one clear target.' Sasha chimes in.

'We should come up with a list of probably locations the Sabbat are using as havens and make sure to make life as difficult for them as they are making it for us.'

She Continues with:

'And as our Sheriff is making it painfully obvious, we need a better grip on the media of this city. If im right, not one of us is exerting any influence over that...'

She looks around to each face, as if hoping someone would contradict her...

Randolf smiles and stands up and raises his hand as if proposing a toast. "Thadeus what about those fellows you were meeting with at the library? What has become of them lately, will they help with Sabbat too?"

An awful lot to take in at one time, moles from the sabbat, explosions, mines collapsing, Mr. Hyde's appearance, demons, Mr. Hyde's appearance.

A shake of her head at the idea of influence over media events.

In Response to Sascha,"I myself have never ventured into the media, I have always assumed it to be the purvey of the Artists or the Blue Bloods. I will see that we place more of an interest into it shortly. How stands the Artistes amongst the local media of fair Sanfield?"

In response to Randolph,"That subject will be dealt with shortly, I have invited Prince Carter and as that was proposed by him, I shall inform him of the details shortly. I called everyone here to discuss the recent problems facing our city, and what has occurred in our own clans. I would like to see us draw some ideas and tactics, before the prince arrives. This allows for an open discourse amongst those who can alter the course our city faces. We have almost all the great clans represented, have any of your respective clans garnered any information you might wish to grace the council with?"
