Dammit, this is turning out to be more time-consuming than she'd thought.  But that's always been one of Deirdre's failings.  Great ideas.  Great creativity.  Poor planning and follow-through.  Now she's starting to realize what she's gotten herself into, all on top of putting Thorns together again and getting it running in time for Halloween.

Over the next nights she begins putting together the plans for Halloween, keeping it a secret from as many as possible.  She returns to Arturo's place to get the contact information for the various elders and other higher-ups in the city in order to send them personal invites, per Bellisa's suggestion.  She also inquires as to what sort of funding, if anything, there is for such an event.  She doesn't know if they have some sort of "Kindred Commmunity Chest" put together.  

The construction at Thorns continues as planned, though Deirdre is sporadically present at best.  She talks with Harry about borrowing the DJing equipment she'll need for this other event, evading any of his questions over the details of why she needs it.  Oh, and she'll need his extensive record and CD collection as well.

Advertising for the event is going to be a problem.  She's hoping on word of mouth to spread news of it around.  Hopefully elders will trickle the information down to their clanmates, and from there the lesser Kindred will talk among themselves.  She'll have to do some canvassing herself though she figures.  

And then there's the matter of decorations and the like.  She returns to Bellisa and Arturo to inquire about getting into the theater a few nights before the event to set up what she needs, and whether or not either of them can spare some help to pitch in.  If not she might have to turn back to Slater, though she's reluctant to call him in.  He doesn't seem to take orders well.

*Bellisa would respond with speed, allowing Deirdre access to the Elysium every evening since it is really public domain anyway. As for help, she could borrow Devin and Kira from Monday through Wednesday. *

Thomas would give Deirdre a very strange list of addresses. A few drycleaners, an electric company answering machine, a few maildrops with lasts names like 'Smith and White'...

She wont have any leads on a single elders haven. Just a peek at the expansive net of proxies, lies and security measures that protect them.

Thomas will lend his ghoul Christine to Deirdre for the rest of the month.

Deirdre may have the creativity to start up such a thing, but Christine has the ability to organize, list, prioritize and generally (in her very quiet way) to push things through.  She's organizes a few things in her time, so, while the time is really way too short, it could almost seem like miracles get done.

Of course, the funding and decorations are on top, along with 'refreshments' not only for the main guests, but also for anyone they might 'bring along'  Security seems taken care of, so invitations need to be rushed through.  

Music, yep, someone to organize and play said music, another priority, along with a list of the music most 'appropriate' to the event.

Yes, lots of fun decisions for poor Deirdre to make.  Although, once those are made, the planning can move ahead rapidly.

Deirdre already has most of her own ideas about decorations, music, and the like.  The only problem is the actual organization of the event and acquisition of materials:  where to get supplies, trying to get them to the theatre in time, making sure the deliveries are done either after dark or to make sure that someone will be there during the daylight.

The next thing, once she has the addresses (or what will suffice for them), is to compose the invites and spread the word.

A few strokes of the keys on her laptop, and Chris can show Deirdre a selection of invitations.  From formal to informal, all giving the just needed amount of info.  
After all, what else do you need, other than date, time, place and kind of 'dress' expected.
Of course you can add on whether or not you can bring guests, if there is parking, and what kind of security will be available, as well as the type of 'refreshements' for those who don't bring their own, so to speak.

After Deirdre chooses the wording, Chris can get to work getting them ready to print out, might be a bit of a late night, oh well, she'll get some sleep, eventually.
