"Well considering what Atlanta is currently weathering, yes I do believe they are the current focus. As far as our late Brujah is concerned, I myself have not heard all the details. I assume it was a strike to dishearten us, otherwise they would have made another move by now. I would like to find the responsible party if it is within our power. We should speak with the other primogen and decide on a strategy for that resolution. The idea of trying your security might prove a bit more daunting, her blood often overlooks minutiae that we do not, instead relying upon their physical prowess to safegaurd them. I can not say for certain though, I never knew her well she found my company unpalatable," knowing she is well aware of the antipathy the Brujah have for Thaddeus.

"I believe we have a few options left to us and that the Primogen should exercise our lessers abilities to see if we might find a solution to our foreign dilemmas. Whom do you believe stands for the Brujah after Marlena's fall? I would have bargained the Sherrif, but after the ascension to keeper this new rebel might have shown her hand."

He speaks slowly trying to build her confidence, the city needs a sure and able elder, especially during these uncertain times.   Whomever sent that gift knew and expected a certain reaction, it would serve no ones interest to play into their hand. If they possessed the ability to extinguish her they certainly would have.

She knows there is no kinship between him and the Brujah, never has been. Unerringly they all seem to despise him on sight. "Marlena and I had much in common, you know, I fear I cannot say the same for her 'replacement'."


"Within our power." she repeats back to him, staring down at the eyepatch mournfully. She has some idea of what is within his power, and that it is of a wholly different sort than her own. She has studied the ways of the other clans, knows that he has the potential to sense emotional investments left upon objects of value. She also knows that by handing it over, she may well expose far more of her own weaknesses to the ancient Tremere than she would wish.

But it is the lesser of two evils by far. She knows where his loyalties lie, that he would be as a grand inquisitor loosed in Salem to those who would lay siege to Sanfield, should the circumstances become dire enough. It is with but little hesitancy that she relinquishes the object to him. "Perhaps with this, you might be able to find us a few new options?"

 Taking the keepsake from her hand, "We shall see. Occasionally these can reveal something, but just as often they yield little of value."

He begins looking it over,"I had heard it was bequeathed to your safe keeping, shall you require its return?" with a questioning gaze. If not, he has just the spot for it above his mantle as something to remember her by.

"I believe our role as primogen has been sorely misplaced as of late, I suggest we start having our meetings with more regularity. Together we are a much more dangerous opponent then separated and in disagreement. We have all aged and stand now because we realized long ago that certain differences must be placed aside. If we let slip what power the position entails we only do harm to ourselves and I am no such masochist. I for one am intent on the power of the station and the respect that shall be had from attaining it. I am certain you will agree," knowing full well that power is a quick and direct route to a blue bloods nature. That is how the Tremere have gained such control over the Camarilla. By allowing others to take the mantle whilst we continually grow in strength.

She briefly considers asking for its return when he has finished with it, but finally decides against it. Sasha spends far too much time gazing worriedly out the windows upon the city as it is, she does not need another reason.

"Keep the accursed thing, consider it a gift." She looks at him slyly now, her very expression oozes with sarcasm. "I know how much Marlena meant to you."

Her face resumes its standard 'all business' appearance when he broaches the state of the Primogen. "Of course you are right, we Elders have lost all semblance of managerial discretion as of late, and it is high time we resume our regular meetings."

Sasha would be more than happy to host every single meeting of the Primogen, here in her own board room. For that matter she would have one here every week if it meant being able to interact with the other Elders without actually having to leave her Ivory Tower, though she is also keenly aware that the others would not take to that idea so readily.

"I shall call the next meeting myself. It has been too long since I have played host to anything but bungling Neonates."

 "That would be divine my dear. I enjoy my gathering in the garden, but certain unruly kin seem to become distraught and decide that they had previous plans, so it should garner everyone at least."

"I have heard distressing news concerning Eleanor recently, I have not been able to verify it but it would appear to be so. I fear it shall not be much longer before I am discussing our politics with Malachi by my side."

"You are an excellent host Regent, of that there can be no argument. However in all honesty, I considered claiming a prior engagement myself. You know how I am with 'Nature'."

As the subject comes back around to the seemingly inescapable sectarian strife surrounding them, Sasha stares out the windows.

"I have heard nothing from my clan in almost a week. I fear that Elanor was simply the first domino in an elaborate chain that has yet to cease."

 Always a bit more at home in her personal domain, we understand the need for a certain idea that whomever calls for a meeting shall not host it. It is uncouth and a bit presumptuous as that person certainly has an agenda and no one will vouch for the integrity of their discourse.

"If you do not mind, I shall call for a meeting then. I can then allow you the details. Of course you are free to ask any of the other primogen should you feel my invitation might go unnoticed by certain parties...."

"That would be most appreciated, though I wager that if any of them are so uncouth as to ignore an invitation from you, my calling card would not add any leverage to their decision."

 "You are always so charming my dear how could any resist your request. Well it has been delightful, but I fear my nights are busy as I am certain yours are as well, until next time my dear, I appreciated your time."
