Slater used deal a lot more with his clan after the fall of his friend and his elder. He has broke away from clan and took charge of a small coterie but it seems with so many new faces in Sanfield that his leadership may be needed. He met some of the new roses and has like them but it all way to chaotic in times war and he hope that maybe he can help the clan rise to something to be respected. He feels that the old wounds has not yet heals and clan is looking calf with a broken leg. He walk into the casino passing the doorman and Ghouls he grab a seat in the VIP room and waits for his  new elder to show his face. He knows Thomas is not one to keep a person waiting.

Certain people might be kept waiting. But clanmates usually are seen to pretty quick. Thomas will enter the lounge just a moment or two after Slater, every security person in the place reporting his arrival...

Since the lounge is mostly empty, Thomas wont bother asking Slater to join him in one of the private rooms. Its odd to see Slater without his posse, even odder to see him here.

'Matthew Slater, one of the last i ever expected to show up here.' Thomas will extend a hand to the younger kindred.

'Hows things across town?'

"Good Arturo, I been trying to keep that group out of too much trouble." It seems hard for him to accept him as the new elder. He knows Thomas deserve position because of devotion to the clan but still there has always been a form resentment in slater heart. “I've know I have a fallen out with clan since the loss of  Qadiral Al-Asmai. He was the person in the rose that I had a strongest connection with and with that loss it lead me astray. I been thinking a lot lately when  I see new faces in Sanfield that maybe it time for me to take responsibility in our clan. I know since I taken over leadership of the dead punk that I have made them into something useful to city but over time it seems that my passion is not being truly tap properly.” The way slater speech has change as he talking to his elder shows that he is being sincere and may even catch Arturo off guard not to hear one fuck or shit and the last min of conversation. “I was hoping that maybe I could be use to help mend the wounds in our clan and allows the new face of our city to feel pride that I feel about the Toreador. I know that I can help with the threat against the siege in our great city but I want our clan to be ready for the upcoming event and more importantly I want them to make it out alive.” he pauses. “ If you would allow me I would like to throw my name into the bowl for whip of our clan and also I wondering if we could have clan meeting to help get our mind together to make us a rock.i will do my best for our clan.” he just sit there and wait their with a stiff back looking showing that he is leady to help lead.

Arturo is suprised. He had written Slater off as a shiftless anarch years ago and never understood why Quadrial even bothered with him...

Arturo is neither ready to name a whip, nor truly ready to accept Slater with open arms, but he wouldnt turn away an obviously charismatic kindred looking to strengthen the clan in this domain.

'I like the idea of a clan meeting. We are still one of the most numerous in this domain...'

Arturo agrees. It goes without saying he would offer his casino as a venue, or the art museum or sculpture garden... all areas he has a hand in and the others would likely find agreeable...

"Thank you i think the clan can be strengthen with this meeting." He crosses his arm," Just give me the time and place i will be there and if you want i can swing by Thorn to send an invite to D."

'That would be great. I never find myself in that part of town these nights...'

Thomas says. He cant understand why some of his clanmates prefer the area. Maybe its the whole starving artist shtick. But then again Thomas is an architect, there arent many starving architects...

'Shall we be terribly old fashioned and gather in the museum? I believe you still have a sculpture or two on display there...'

"museum sound great beat the hacks they got do sculpture in the garden. Just because they study in France dose not mean they have soul of  an artist." He shake his head in disappointment of recreation of an era that was long forgotten and a complete disconnect to the current American culture. "I make sure the word is out on my side of town but if i'm not mistaken that is only D unless their are some new faces I'm not aware of."

'Well if your not opposed to making a trip up the main strip you could call on Tommy and Rose as well. I believe he still wallows away in the Red Zone night after night and Rose is selling yarn or something of the sort in her shop...'

Thomas sounds a bit dismissive about his former whip and her strange lifestyle.

'Other than them there is the Dahlia and Illuminata. Both of which i can assure will be there.'

"All right i will contact these people for our little meeting" He send his hand out to be shanked. "well i guess i bid you good day sir." He laugh a little as he began to get out of the table. "Think you Arturo for the time." he leave after Arturo send his for well back.

Arturo will shake Slaters hand and bid him farewell. Perhaps his being named primogen will be very good for the Toreador clan. Already the neonates flock to the Casino again and only Deirdre has to be coerced to stop by....
