Only a few nights back in the city, Jillian must get herself caught up... And one thing she has heard over and over.. 'Illuminata'.. So, what would any good social know it all do? Find out all she can about the girl...

And the one name she has heard in constant relation with Illuminata, Arturo....

So, she called Arturo first, to warn him she would be coming, and then arrived at the Casino, in search of details...

Arturo would be waiting for Jillian in the private lounge overlooking the casino floor. As would be expected he wears a suit whose pricetag could buy him a small african country, he sits at one of the blackjack tables by himself having long since told the dealer to go away.

When he spots Jillian he will stand to greet her.

'Jillian, hiding from your dusty tomes and gargoyles again or did you just miss me?'

Apparently being named Primogen has put Arturo in somewhat of a good mood...

The price of Jillian's clothing could quite easily rival the price of Arturo's as well... She wears a sexy, revealing woman's Prada suit. A knee length, tight skirt, a jacket with no shirt underneath, keeping her covered, but just barely in the front.. hugging her oh so perfect curves.. Stilettos on her feet.. If Arturo knows designers, as she's sure he does, they're Jimmy Choo.. Red shoes to match the red leather Prada bag which compliments the black of the suit...

She moves over to him, with a sly smirk...

"Thomas.. You know I missed you, love, just as I'm sure you missed me."

She grins, a hand on Arturo's arm for a moment..

"And what is new in the world of my Mr. Arturo?"

'Come now my dear, you never come here looking for idle foreplay, you have specific questions and we both know it.'

He tells Jillian, reflexively leaning in to coldly kiss her cheek.

'Can i offer you anything?'

He asks, gesturing to the bar everyone in the know knows carrys more than liquor. Playing host comes reflexively to this Toreador.

She grins and nods.

"The house red, would be beautiful."

A soft chuckle..

"You know me so well. I have a simple topic of interest. Illuminata. Since I haven't had the pleasure of meeting her, I would like to know a bit about her."

Thomas raises two fingers to the bartender, who will go retrieve their drinks, half from a bottle, half from a vein in room three...

Thomas grins, his friend and possible future whip is attracting attention already.

'I can do you one better. Shes staying here and i may be able to pry her away from her buisness for a while if youd prefer to meet her.'

"How could I pass up the chance to converse with a newcomer who has found favor in both you and my Regent?"

She laughs

"If she could spare the time, I would love to meet the doll!"

And when her drink arrives, she takes a long sip with a satisfied sigh.

"Mr. Arturo, you always have the best."

A nod to her cup.

"And I thank you"

She grins to him.

Arturo will tell the bartender to send a runner up to Illuminatas suite and ask her to join them in the lounge.

Thomas will then turn his attention back to Jillian.

'So whbere have you been these last few months my dear?'

She laughs lightly.

"Oh, just getting whored out as a teacher of manners to some vagrants."

She shrugs

"But thankfully I'm back now. What have I missed?"

Illuminata sweeps gracefully down the stairs from her luxury suite, clad in a cherry red designer evening dress, probably Dior, clutching a diamond-studded silver cigarette case, a lit cigarette already poised in her cigarette holder.

She enters the room, looking somewhat amused. She nods graciously at Jillian before addressing Thomas.
"You rang, darling?" she smirks, her smoky, velvety voice radiating unspoken laughter.

And she stands, in a respectful manor, with a smile to the newcomer.

"Illuminata, I take it?"

Thomas will stand to welcome Illy to the little gathering.

'Jillian this is the ravishing miss Illuminata De Borbon-Sicilies, Illy this is the lovely Jillian Bryant, one of the few warlocks we tolerate around here...'

Thomas says teasingly. He and the Regent get along better than any of the cities elders and even Sebastion, dirty as he may be half the time, has his merits.

"You presume rightl, young Warlock," Illy chuckles.

"I see I've already built a reputation without lifting a finger, how wonderful! The less work I have to do, you know, my dear." She smiles warmly at Jillian and Thomas.

"So, since you have come seeking me out, I can only presume you have questions, my dear Jillian," she says, tapping her cigarette into an ashtray Thomas has thoughtfully had put out in anticipation of her arrival.

She laughs.. A light twinkling sound, as opposed to the deeper, sultry..

"Young... Ah, you do flatter me."

She smiles to the woman.. an amused chuckle in her eye.. She's been in the city for over 100 years at this point...

"No question, persay... I just had a general interest in you. I just returned to town less than a week ago, and both my dear Regent as well a few others have mentioned your name. Apparently you're the flavor of the month in the gossip world."

She takes a sip of her drink.

"I met up with some friends over at The Red Zone and they mentioned that you've turned a few heads. What brought you to our city?"

"Well, at least younger when frozen in time than I myself was, it appears," Illy laughs.

"Turned a few heads, have I? Well, well, who knew that dressing well was all it took, I would have risen to power ages ago!"

The half-smile vanishes from her face as Jillian asks her last question.

"The impending fall of Atlanta brought me here. I was lucky enough to be able to escape during the day thanks to my faithful girls. Your clanmate Hannah and Regent Malachi still fare well there, the Chantry is well-protected."

She nods.

"I had heard briefly about trouble in Atlanta, but didn't know the extent.. I am so sorry to hear about the trouble in Atlanta.."

She shakes her head.

"But I know we are glad to have you here in our city, and hopefully if a similar situation arises here, we will fare better than our sister city. Have you been in town long?"

'Illuminata only just arrived before court.' Thomas answers Jillian, figuring she already knew anyway.

'We will not see the same fate here as in Atlanta. Prince Carter has been obsessively working to make sure of it and if my century of residence in his domain has proven anything its that he will succeed.'

Thomas settles setting his glass away for the bartender to retrieve.

'Illuminata has agreed to help me in the running of our clan. Perhaps that is why youve heard so much about her already Jillian. Im sure some of the younger roses will view her as an outsider but in time they will see the merit of my decision..'

She nods and smiles.

"I did ear of your promotion, Arturo.. I am very proud of you! I couldn't think of anyone better among your type.. Not that my opinion matters much, but the sentiment is there."

She laughs

"I've been here as long as you have, love, and I do know what you mean. Our prince may be mad, but he does have what it takes to succeed."

She takes a sip of her drink and smooths out her skirt once more, then her hair.

"I haven't heard much, but I do know that Illuminata was mentioned in my reunion with my dear regent briefly, and then of course Valentine mentioned the name. Valentine has his nose in as much as I do."

A grin.

"But no word is more true than my own, and I needed to meet this rose, of course."

She bows her head slightly to Illuminata

"I'm sure I will see much more of you, dear, and I look foreward to it."

Illuminata smiles as she lights another cigarette.
"No need to apologize for bringing up Atlanta, dear, the situation may be painful but we appear to have proven to ourselves there isn't much we can do against such overwhelming force."

Turning to Thomas, she says, "why thank you, I'm flattered by your confidence in me. Hopefully they will indeed come to see me as one of them. Lots of..angry youth in this city."

"It's been a pleasure, Jillian. I shall look forward to meeting again," she says, returning the gesture of respect and bowing her head slightly as well.

"I must be off now, but it was a pleasure to meet you Illuminata, I'm sure I will be seeing much more of you from here out. And Arturo, as always, a charm."

She smiles and dips her head slightly to them both.

"See you around"

And then she turns and exits out of the club.
