"Well, Thomas," Illy remarks after Jillian's abrupt departure, "that was interesting, wasn't it? A bit short of a visit to have made me come downstairs, I would have thought she might have wanted to know more."

She lights another cigarette, and adds, "It suits me just fine anyway, I wasn't prepared for an interview. I can't believe that just showing up to Elysium well-dressed could have set the city abuzz. Is Sanfield really so starved for entertainment?"

'They just know superior blood when they see it.'

Arturo says with a wink.

'Theres a few less formal gatherings. I dont suppose i could request the pleasure of your company? Deirdre McPherson is hosting a costume ball at the Palace Theatre and the Giovanni have something set up in the suburbs.'

Arturo appreciates a good party hop and wants to see what kind of response Deirdre got to all her invitations. It would be rather uncouth of him not to at least make an appearance... He will cut off Illy by adding:

'We should pick up Regent Thaddeaus and make him party hop with us.'

Illy lets out a tinkling laugh at Thomas's over the top flattery.
"Oh my, two parties to go to on all Hallow's eve. How delightful! I'll bring the girls, they need to get out more, and it never hurts to have a bit of...security."

She stands up, looking excited, "Ooh, and no one here has seen me in last year's costume, so the short notice is fine, just fine."

She claps her hands when Thomas mentions Thaddeus, "Oh, let's do get Thaddeus, it'll be such a fabulous evening with the two of you!"

She turns to go upstairs to her room, and as she leaves says, "just allow me about half an hour to an hour to get ready, and then we shall begin the fun."

Arturo nods to Illy as she whisks away to get changed and prepared. He will take the opportunity to have one of the staff put in a call to Regent Thaddeaus and let him know he has been recruited to join the party hopping.

Arturo is sure he will be up to it and they will swing by to retrieve him in an hour.

 The Regent responds he will be ready and looking forward to the delightful endeavor. He knows the company and glimpse into the mercenaries will be invaluable compared to the evening's time. He begins to ready himself before their arrival, phoning the guards to expect company...

About forty-five minutes later, Illuminata comes back downstairs, dressed in a somewhat indecent stage magician's outfit. Top hat, a tightly tailored white tuxedo shirt showing an ample amount of cleavage, white bow tie, white gloves, a black tuxedo jacket with tails over a black satin panties, black fishnets and black high-heeled thigh-high leather boots polished to a mirror shine.

As accessories, on each arm she has one of her gorgeous twin ghouls, each dressed in very short and revealing magician's assistant outfits, all red sequins and satin, with matching red pumps.

Arturo will give Illy a playful wolf whistle. He had no intention of costuming up himself. A fine tailored black suit and a blood colored tie will do him just fine.

Waiting out front will be Alexi and with one of Arturos vehicles. A smoky grey limousine with plenty of room for all six guests.

'After you my dear.' Arturo says opening the door for Illy and her twins. When all are loaded they will rendezvous with the Regent and Jessica...

Illy smiles at the wolf whistle. "Well, don't you just look handsome tonight. This should be fun, and it's always...interesting to see what the mercenaries may be able to pull off."
She climbs in the car, sitting next to Thomas with Juanita and Conchita facing them.
"Let's go see the Regent, then."

And this will connect us to the chantry: an evening in the suburbs where we pick up the rest of the crew.
