Christine wouldnt have seen it, but there was a sudden shift in Cindys demeanor. She doesnt like Alexi, not too many of the staff do. Its mostly due to his position and the general kid-touching creepy feeling they get from him. Cindys emotions are easily bent by Alexis application of Presence, suddenly she will give Alexi the benefit of the doubt and even slip an encouraging smile to Christine as if to say: 'Maybe he isnt so bad...'

Alexi will walk back through the offices, with the two women in tow, and proceed to Mr. Arturo's business offices where he has sent a staff member to notify him of their imminent arrival.  

Upon approaching the office Alexi will nod to the secretary and wait to be called in.

The trip up to Arturos private office takes them through a maze of back hallways, well beyond the vip lounge where Arturo normally entertains. His office is set high up with one way mirrors looking down over the casino floor and vip lounge.

His secretary is a young, attractive brunette with short hair. She looks miniscule behind her massive desk and presses a button to inform Arturo Alexi and Christine have arrived.

'Send them in.'

Is his reply. The office doors will open and close behind the two ghouls. Arturo sits behind a huge, detailed desk where he can see all the goings on of the casino. Above the mirrored windows are a bank of computer monitors all showing different areas from security to the money counting room to a few select suites...

Arturo doesnt say a word as the two enter, he just presses a button that locks the door behind them.

Alexi will half shuffle into the office, maintaining the downtrod appearance that everyone in the Casino has seen him with recently....that is up until he hears the doors lock.

If anyone other than Thomas and Christine could see him they would note a marked difference in his appearance and manner.  The shuffling and staring at the floor has been replaced by his traditional confidence, he is straightening his suit coat and smoothing out wrinkles as he walks briskly forward and stands in front of one of the richly appointed leather chairs flanking the front of Mr. Arturo's desk.

Alexi will motion to Christine to take the other chair before pulling out a hankerchief and wiping off the makeup from his face.  The pallid hue and dark circles under his eyes are gone, replaced by the once again near flawless Alexi.

Pocketing the cloth he will look up at Mr. Arturo.

"She failed, Sir."

chris is angry enough to just turn and try to plunge the syringe into Alexi's heart right then and there.  She will try, but....

Alexi is hardly surprised at the reaction, further more getting a rise out of Christine causes more joy than his stern demeanor shows.  

Knowing she has the pistol, and letting her keep it just in case it could lead to some more fun seems to be the right choice at the moment.  Perhaps this evening will be more fun than originally anticipated.

Arturo had expected something like this. His office is one of the few places in the casino where this fight could play out without calling any attention to either of the ghouls. He wont interfere in there little altercation, he engineered it after all.

Initiative is as follows-
1)Christine.
2) Alexi.

Of course she has the gun she had bought recently.  A very nice little .357, that she bought from that nice man at the gun shop.  Fully loaded, easily taken off safety when she pulls it out.

Radiation adds: I even emailed you step by step directions on how to create this dicepool. What gives? Also, take advantage of the fact that this pistol is both extremely loud and has some awesome recoil- its a great opportunity to post some descrïption. Dont rely on the dice I had to roll for you to do the talking.

Alexi will quickly drop behind the big leather chair he's standing in front of as Christine raises a rather gnarly looking pistol.  As he begins to drop he feels the bullet tear into the meaty bits of his chest.

(Cover, Diff +2 for Christine, diff +1 for Alexi to fire from cover)

"Idiot bitch!  You're going to hit Mr. Arturo if you lose your shit and start firing wildly around the room.  Remember what happened when you lost your finger..."

There is no lie in his voice, no deception. Alexi's urge to protect Mr. Arturo begins to overwhelm his common sense..but luckily for now, he's still behind a fairly sturdy leather chair...

[Close, I edited a few things. Alexi cant dodge because he lost initative and was still considered suprised, so you took one more level of damage. You will be able to dodge on your next turn. The frenzy was perfect, and your cover will up the diff of your shot as well.]

Christines turn.

A heartfelt 'damn' as she fails to kill him with her first shot.  Only one other chance, she knows to kill him, before he hides, or shoots her.  She's not fond of being shot.

The well placed bullets rip through the formerly sturdy chair and through Alexi's chest cavity, spraying blood and gore all over Mr. Arturo's office.  As Alexi staggers backwards and falls it's pretty easy to see the smile on his face.

The gurgling laughter rings out through the office as Alexi turns to Christine.

"Damn....Good shot...."

Alexi will slump to the floor in a bloody crumpled heap, clear holes visible in his chest with a smile on his face.

Thomas is startled by the second shot. He has never been one to use firearms. They are loud and incapable of finesse or discretion. The brutal effectiveness of Christines heavy revolver is splattered all over the walls, however.

[Christine needs to succeed a Conscience roll at Diff:8 or lose a point of humanity.]

Arturo claps three times before standing from his desk and looking at Christine.

'I was beginning to doubt your conviction my dear- That needle buisness seemed ill concieved.'

Alexi is dead.  She can only stare at the body in disbelief for a moment, before she starts shaking...guilt slamming into her in waves.   Taking a life...even one so brutal and callous as Alexi, its still a sin.  A softly whispered requiesiat in pace might be heard, unless Arturo is too busy congratulating himself on getting rid of a dangerous liability.

The revolver is slowly lowered, still keeping hold of it, as tear filled eyes turn to Arturo.

At first, Arturo assumed she was crying imagining spending the rest of her life in jail. Most mortals and even ghouls have that come to mind real quick when they take a life. Arturo is almost disturbed that his first concern was cleaning and coverup; even of loyal Alexis violent end. When he realises Christine is having a true moral quandry over her act he almost becomes sympathetic.

'You have nothing to worry about Christine. Leave the revolver on my desk and go get cleaned up. Come tommoro this will all just feel like a bad dream.'

Slowly puts the .357 down, before looking at Arturo.  There are so many things she would like to say, but unfortunately, between the entrancement and the blood bond, she's silent.

Once again following orders, leaving to get cleaned up, only to spend most of the night staring up at the ceiling, before finally taking a sleeping pill.
