I close my eyes and begin the call as i slip out a side door behind a pack of drunks. I saw his head pick up as i crossed the threshold.

I walk back int oteh darkness of the alley, taking off my own expensive jacket and hanging it carefully from a fire escape. I roll up my sleeves and reach up to retrieve a tire iron i left there moments ago.

I grit my teeth and swing the iron like a bat, catching the man in the back of the head as he turns to dash back inside. My strike is true and i knock him flat, stunned...

I stand with one foot on his back and watch the mouth of the alley. I take out my phone and make a call to Blondie the newscaster.

'Miss Christine Daphne... ' She knows my voice, and i slop on the seductive tones she melts for. 'I have a hot tip for my favorite reporter on the rise. Grab your camera man and get down to Pillsbury street... I just spotted Sanfields most wanted and he has a gun in his pocket. '

She gives me her ETA, and i tell her ill treat her to dinner when she gets her exclusive. I hang up and get my man standing. His head isnt looking so good, but he will look much worse once im through with him.

My driver meets me at the mouth of the alley and I help the beaten down patsy into the back seat of the car...

We arrive at the location mere moments before the reporter is due... My driver parks us in an alleyway and we both get out of the car. I stand in the mouth of the alley and he holds the beaten man upright so i can press his fingers onto the grip of a pistol...

I wait until we have a car speeding down the semi deserted street, and i raise the pistol, taking aim at a run down buisness across the street. As the car nears i signal to the ghoul, who will use his potence enhanced strength to toss the limp man bodily into the path of the oncoming car.

As the man flies from the alleyway i squeeze the trigger over and over, blasting out the front window of the shop and shredding up the sign.

The driver, distracted by the shots slams into the limp man and runs him down. I toss the pistol into the street. My dead hands have no oils, and therefore the only prints will be of my patsy.

I step back into the alleyway as i hear the brakes locking and a witness screaming. The driver is already in the car, and i get right back in. we back down the alley to leave on the other side, to circle the block and make sure Blondie is there to catch her man...

I will call the police with the same tip, only anonymous.

I settle back in my seat, knowing the physical work will be worth having the sheriff owe me a boon. I glance up at the driver, and motion for him to just drive around... I will be waiting for Blondies call to be sure my deception pays off...
