After Hyde returned from the council meeting in the Garden of the Tremere, he Related all that transpired to Beauty as always. Though this time he had questions. Questions about where she had last seen the Shug, what the people he was talking to looked like, how many of them there were, what his nightly habits and routes were. And of course… where his lair was located. Though they had been in the same city for years, confined to the same tunnels, Hyde and Shug had rarely interacted. There was just something about the way the stunted little freak carried himself that Hyde simply did not like, and apparently, the feeling was mutual. Whatever the case, Hyde now found himself wishing he had followed that old maxim Beauty was so fond of, about keeping one’s friends close…
