Hyde began to calm himself as soon as he was out of that place, and regained enough of his wits to conceal himself from mortal eyes. How he got back to the Hovel is a bit of a blur, his thoughts were racing so much faster than his feet had been to try to come to grips with all that he had seen.

Approaching Beauty's car, he does not know quite what to say. He is still wild-eyed when she looks up at him, his countenance bewildered and fearful. Something she has rarely, if ever seen in his face...

"Uh... well. I... I was at the Red-Eye. I saw some things... Disturbing things... I think I am beginning to understand why you don't go out much..."

Beauties face goes from concern to angry in about three seconds flat.

'You went where?...'

"Well, it's not as if you ever told me not to. How the hell was I supposed ta know you quit goin' there 'cause ya went apeshit an' killed the guvner?"

Damn, he thinks, I still don't have my wits about me, I probly shouldn't 'ave said that."

Beauty's eyes narrow and she emits a low Growl at Hyde and suddenly stomps off down one of the many tunnels. They both kill regularly, but that one seems to haunt her...

She didnt explain, she didnt even lash out as she is prone to. As Hyde knows, when she storms off without a word is when she is truly upset.

"Shit." he looks at the floor, knowing chasing her will only make it worse. "It was gonna be for your birthday..." he mutters to himself.

She always comes back eventually. Usually with something for the grinners to eat...
