After the enjoyable evening with Mr. Arturo, I am reminded of the need to feel out the blue bloods and develop s better repertoire. As I arrive back at the chantry, I clear my mind feeling the building, becoming the structure, looking. I smile and quickly turn toward the door. I know where she is. I arrive just outside her door and smell the aromatic fragrances of Givenchy wafting under the doorway, always the minx that one. I knock softly, and in a slight tone say "Jillian, dearest, could I have a word with you in my chambers when you are finished." I await her reply casually, being reminded of something I remember from my mortal days about rushing the fairer sex. I smile at thinking such a thing after these long years.

Sitting at my ornate oak desk I smile as I hear the knock at the door.  Finally, something more entertaining than study.  I simply do not understand how they spend so much time staring at these books.  The Regent never bores me with dull conversation, and is quite the gentleman.  "I will be there in a few minutes," I call sweetly back.  I must change before meeting with him.  Besides, it is always good to keep a man, even the Regent, waiting at least a little bit.

I return to my study and tidy up a bit before Jillian's arrival. Once I am aware she is headed this way I will intercept her in a hall. "Looking lovely as always. I was wondering if you might be interested in a walk in the garden this evening? The night is gorgeous and the nightingales are singing. Such things are hard to resist." I offer my hand and politely kiss hers, entering a slight bow. I lead her toward out the Chantry and toward the garden maze, noting any notice of our passing.

As I see Thaddeus in the hallway I am glad I took the time to change.  He always looks impeccable and this black dress favors me far more than the one I was originally wearing.  How does he know that I am feeling cooped up, a walk in the garden is favorable to any chambers in the Chantry this evening.  "Who are we to resist temptation?" I respond with a coy smile.  A kiss and a bow, always a gentleman but I knew that before.  I willingly let him lead me to the gardens, eager to hear the news from the day, and what I might be able to stir up in the future.  Temptation indeed.

We start at one of the longer and more difficult entrances to the garden maze.
"Jillian, I have something I would like to see you handle personally. I have been very busy lately and fear we have not kept abreast with the happenings of the Ventrue estates. I seem to remember a gentleman whom has a very high opinion of himself, a Valentine, if I am correct. If you could spare the time, a evening carousing about the town and reassuring the blue bloods of our respect and like minded purpose would be very appreciated. Dahlia I believe would enjoy the evening as well, and given her being chosen as keeper for the March court, might go well at cementing yourself amongst the rising elite amongst Sanfield." I smile reassuringly, patting her delicate hand."I am certain you might even pick up a few bits of tawdry gossip as well, especially for such an aristocrat as yourself." even chuckling myself, knowing full well that Jillian could charm anyone. "If there is anything you require for the evening I would be happy to assist."

Enjoy the walk I grin eagerly as he requests my handling of the Ventrue and Toreador.  The next few days should be very fun.

"As always, I am at your service Regent." My still smiling face shows that this will be as entertaining as it is useful to the Regent.  "I will begin preperations upon our return."

I then settle into enjoying the walk through the garden maze.  Times alone with the Regent are rare and I pay close attention to him whenever the oppurtunity arises.  The more I know the better equipped I am to help him.  I am also plotting as we walk along preparing for how to engage someone like Valentine, and Dahlia as well.

"I have also become aware of an associate and shall we say confidant of our esteemed prince. I believe she is some sort of bastard, but have also heard she has some gift at auguries. Any information you might be able to procure would be an asset, though you must exercise caution at raising any suspicion we are too interested in her. The prince is still a madman and that is sometimes dangerous." I guide our steps to a spot with a delightful view of a copse of trees. We are there but a few minutes when one of them starts to move of its own accord, disturbing the nesting birds."Sebastian is progressing nicely, I believe he will be a strong force against any Sabbat that might threaten our city."

I laugh, slightly startled at the moving tree.  Then take the time to respond.

"If nothing else he will surprise them.  As to the confidant, I will find a way to get the information without exposing our interest."  Truly it might be difficult to find such information, but I would never let that show.  The Regent must have full confidence in my abilities.

We continue enjoying the beauty of our walk in relative quiet now that the nightngales are singing their songs.  I reflect on my usefullness in the clan, and making sure I remain as useful in the future.  It shouldn't be hard considering that no one else can even tell a Ventrue from a Toreador unless they have read about it in a book.

Towards the end of the maze I state "Regent I will begin what we discussed immediately.  The reassurances and information you seek will be yours as soon as I can deliver."  I smile a charming smile that reminds him why he gives these tasks to me.  "I will also look forward to our next garden walk."

"It has been a delight and reprieve from my normal duties and look forward to next we meet." I smile as she departs, I was fortunate indeed to have acquired her, House Politico is very picky about their members and the receiving chantries. I sometimes wonder if they are aware of something I am not. Devious and calculating they are, something Jillian's targets are not aware of either. They would truly fear her if they did.
