I type into the search bar "Recent paranormal activities in the Georgia area." It brings up several links, one of the more pronounced is a story about people seeing a native American inside of a lodge in the mountains. there seems to be a lot of commotion about this one. not just one or two people recall seeing it but many maybe this is something that could get them to change the location of the show. It would also bring great profits to the hotel having a national T.V. show film there. I then begin to think on how to explain this to the producer maybe Jillian or Sebastion will have some good insight. I then quickly scan the room to see if either of then are here. |

After changing and making all the neccesary preperations to attend the evening's event I head toward the library to see how James is progressing. If he is going to find anything he should have already found it. I walk into the library and glance around, frowning as I don't see him in any of the open areas doing research. As I scan more carefully I see him in a corner, he seems to be waiting for someone, hopefully that is a good sign. I head over. --Last edited by Cali on 2008-04-10 21:13:07 -- |

As Jillian steps into the room and catches my eye, I motion for her to join me in my secluded section. I have been so determined to make my studies profitable, which seem o be the most prominent contribution to the chantry. Hopefully with this task the Regent has assigned me I may prove my worth. "I think i may have found our solution, but I am not quite certain on how to explain the situation." I speak softly with a puzzled look on my face. "I would ask you for assistance if you have but a moment." I then retell he many stories of the Native American man seen wandering around the mountains and in and out of the lodges to the east. "If this doesn't seem buy able we can also try to persuade them to look into the many UFO and big foot sightings." |

I walk into the library cleaned up and dressed in a black pin stripe suit with a black vest underneath a suit jacket. I have a green tie, shades, a sliver pocket watch, a black fedora, ivory cuffing and a weird silver tree broach for an accessory. I look and see if one specific book was pulled from the shelf, it was probably looked over because it is not easy to find. I pull down a leather journal from a Coronal of the Confederate Army. I say to James, “Coronal Myron Beade had a double life he was also the grand wizard of the Klan from 1880 till 1920 he died when he was 97. He was senile and losing his memory, so he had the Klan officers keep well documented records of the events in this time period. I was thinking of one event that might just work for this situation. In 1917 the holy order of the KKK went on a lynching streak and hung 8 Italians, 9 Jews, and 23 African Americans. They were trying to do a quick sweep of ethnic cleansing in Sanfield. They thought that this would be a striking blow to force the rest of the immigrants out of there so called holy land. They did this on an old abandoned confederate fort up in the mountains. They decided to use the fort to show respect to the 350 soldiers who lost there life to the union and the battle of Suns Mountains. They made one crucial mistake when hanging so many people that they hung Mama Kad, a prominent faith healer and voodoo priestess, who vexed all of her executioners. The 15 executioners died of a unknown illness before leaving the mountain,” I say knowingly they just do not realize I happened upon this work some years ago by accident. “I think this may work as well,” Looking to them for confirmation.

Glancing at Jillian I say, "Not meaning any disrespect, might I do more good at this party as your date then as the bodyguard, the bodyguard role puts me into a disadvantageous role of less freedom if changes to the plan are needed. We could justify James as the chauffeur and accomplish the same results. I have vouched to the Regent this would go smoothly and would feel better with you. There are always unforeseen circumstances and we might have to adapt a different plan of action quickly," I ask, trying to respect her authority, but feeling a bit unsure about the role. --Last edited by Sebastion MacDonald on 2008-04-09 14:42:14 --

I sit there and think for a second, "Yes Sebastion I do agree you would suit better as the date and I do not mind playing a lessor role in this ordeal. I also do enjoy your suggestion towards the new location of the show." I speak out with great enthusiasm. "There is just one more thing I must do." I jump out of the chair and head towards the door. "I must change out of this drab and into something more fitting for a party." As I leave the room I begin to think that all that time was waisted. The hours of research gone to waist but i guess his idea was a lot better. |

Time is running out and plans are changing at a rapid pace, luckily I excel at last minute manueverings. "Sebastion your story is intriguing, but unless there is something more recent to it, such as a claim of a sighting of her ghost or the executioner's ghosts I do not see why this would post-pone them from the sewers. They could just research the sewers and then the mountains. We need something that will make them rush to the mountains now." "As to who will be escorting me I see positives and negatives to both situations. I want you in a position where you can interact immediately if neccesary (the date), but I also want one of us to have our eye on James the entire time, which we can't do if he is a chauffer. He has not been out in social circles since he joined our Chantry and I do not like the idea of him being left alone. The reason I initially suggested you as a bodyguard is because I am confident I can handle any conversational aspects, but James might need help and it would give you free reign to step in for him at any moment and keep him near by." I stand and think for a moment or two gathering all my thoughts and ideas and looking at both men for strengths and weaknesses that will be relevant to the evening. "Perhaps a compromise. You can escort me, and James can be my assistant. That way he and I can converse quietly whenever either of us feels the need. I can have him spout off any information I want him to, and he would never leave our sight." I smile. This will give Sebastion the role he desires (though I will be interested to see why as the night progresses) and leave James near me and practicing as I want him to do. I sometimes forget how detail oriented Sebastion is. You would think walking in his garden would remind me. "That just leaves the question of which story to use. If yours has something to lend it immediacy I would prefer it, otherwise I believe James' research will pay of well." --Last edited by Cali on 2008-04-10 21:14:24 -- |

“Well here come the fun part, your decision Jillian. We know for a fact that the lodge is inside of the Gangrel's territory and they are independent in our city. Do you think it we should put this upon them? I don’t know about politics of Gangrel neither do I really care, we do know that there are bands of Sabbat in the mountain that is why we don’t go there. My location laces the film crew right up within the enemies area. All we need to do is prove that the local animal's ecology is out of sync by directing them to speak with any local game wardens. If the Sabbat is in mountain they must be feeding on something and we know how animals love to react to our ever loving charm," said smiling at her. "They are creating an environment where the TV show can thrive. I will give you my two cent and you can decide if it is valid or not. Whatever decision you decide is what we follow. I think we should do a multiple strike with all three stories so we are forcing them to follow the so called reality TV. I do think it would be most beneficial for Tremere clan to get them to investigate the so call KKK approach so we can gather any further information on the Sabbat in the area. I do appreciate the amount of import you are allowing me to put in this plan, we both know this is not a democracy. I thank you for the respect, on both our behalf. So what is our plan..." I bow slightly in respect to my fellow clansmen.

I stand for a few more minutes in silence obviously thinking things through then turn to Sebastion and begin to speak. "We are a pair of noted paranormal researches in the city of Sanfield. We have been friends for ages and had to attend when we heard the news of this party. I have brought my assistant with me so he can, hopefully, learn. We are sorely disappointed to discover that the rumors are in fact true and the story is only about the sewers. There is -nothing- of interest there. We (you and I) start discussing where in or near the city is the best place for such a show. You boast the benefits of the KKK story while I boast the benefits of the Native American story. It is a friendy disagreement, that will show off the benefits of going far away from the current filming location. Any mention of the sewers is met with disdain. If they don't buy it we move on to more persuasive measures." I wait for Sebastion to nod his approval, but my look says that now is not the time for tweaks to the plan. If anything needs to be changed he can do it in the car or as it happens. Any more planning and this will be all work and no play for me. After his nod (assuming he gives one) I head off to the car making sure James has picked up his research along the way. --Last edited by Cali on 2008-04-10 21:15:16 -- |
