A message arrives at the Chantry via standard post addressed to Sebastian. No return address, no postage, but it has half of a Sanfield Rock official postage seal, as if there might have been a stamp on it at some point. (Though anything more than a cursory examination will show that there was never any such thing.) The scrïpt is calligraphic.

The letter reads:

Greetings Sebastian,

I understand that you are a veritable wizard with plants, I happen to be in need of some assistance with a related endeavor. Any assistance or information would be most appreciated.

Cordially,
Mister Hyde

Nature and History do not agree with our conceptions of good and bad; they define good as that which survives, and bad as that which goes under; and the universe has no prejudice in favor of Christ as against Genghis Khan. -Will and Ariel Durant

Jiles, the regents butler, delivers the letter to Sebastion,"A parcel arrived for you sir." He hands you a letter, obviously opened."The Regent would like to speak with you in two hours, shall I return?" he asks.

Since love and fear can hardly exist together, if we must choose between them, it is far safer to be feared than loved.

I take the letter and look it over as I tend to my garden. “Well Jiles, it looks like I need to clean up a little bit.” I take my leave of Jiles and head to my room to change clothing and it take about an hour to clean up and change into a set of fresh clothes. I wait for about a quarter till and head over to the regents office and knock at his door. “Regent Thaddeus may I enter your chambers.”
