After the debacle at the court, the regent returns to the Chantry, fuming. He will sit alone and compose himself for a few hours before calling Jiles,"Find me Sebastion, we need to speak." Jiles, already well aware of his masters foul humour, quickly sets about searching for the target of the Regent's ire. All he can think is how glad he is it is not him.

I Have Randolph on my shoulder as Jiles tell me that the Regent needs to speak to me. I follow Jiles to the master sitting room. Jiles announces my entrances, "Sebastion and Guest." I enter room and I put Randolph on the floor. "That were dogs belong," as I take seat across from the Regent.

"Interesting," I reply and unexpected. "So I assume you were able to take him down? We shall let that sleeping dog lie, for a bit. I expect an accounting for your atrocious behavior in the War Court, and do not give me some tripe about feelings, I shall not hear of it. You placed myself and the clan in a precarious situation, why?" in a tone that suggests he is in no mood for literary chicanery.

"Simple Sir, I was testing a theory about our Prince and his maddening that run through his blood. He falls under a different personality and I was just seeing if I can change the Tyrant into a lawyer. I had much success. The more we know about the prices derangements allow us to gain a firmer grip upon Sanfield. I'm the only one in our chantry who could get away with that spectacle because of my reputation and it worth the punishment to gain the knowledge.”

“A second point, Un taps Fodder that the cities are ignoring. Their are neonate coterie know as Dead Punk and by standing up for the oppress. I have gain much favor and possibly more allies against the seizes against Sabbat. They need some one who can organize and lead them into fields of mars. If no one stand up than they will stay hidden and unused as our chances of survival our lessens against the hordes.”  

“Third, I was also trying to protect my work. I been working hard to gain allies with some of the lower clan members and Deidre was one them. I put many hours gaining friendship with her and I knew it noting was said I would lost our my hard work. I do think if I did not stand up for she would have just been turn to ash. “On a final note Sirs, I wanted to see how our new guess that princes has hired would act. We need to know as much info about the Assamite also know as shade. I can not feel truly safe with Him here and I need to see how he stands amongst the chaos. I did catch him on the blood hunt and now I’m truly worried about camarilla. He is ignoring the agreement that was sign to end the wars and that make him threat to us all.”

You have accounted for your actions with honor and dignity, I can understand your position. I represent Tremere in this matter though, and as such must demand that you sup upon the cup. It is expected." He stands and walks to a closet removing a chalice he prepared earlier. He returns to Sebastion, handing him the cup. "Shall you repeat the oath, I believe it would be appropriate...."

"I, Sebastion MacDonald, hereby swear my everlasting loyalty to House and Clan Tremere and all its members. I am of their blood, and they are of mine. We share our lives, our goals, and our achievements. I shall obey those the House sees fit to name my superiors, and treat my inferiors with all the respect and care they earn for themselves.

I will not deprive nor attempt to deprive any member of House and Clan Tremere of his magical power. To do so would be to act against the strength of our House. I will not slay nor attempt to slay any member of the House and Clan except in self-defense, or when a magus has been ruled outlaw by a properly constituted tribunal. If a magus has been ruled an outlaw, I shall bend all efforts to bring such magus to justice.

I will abide by all decisions of the tribunals, and respectfully honor the wishes of the Inner Council of Seven and the wishes of my superiors. The tribunals shall be bound by the spirit of the Code of Tremere, as supplemented by the Peripheral Code and interpreted by a properly constituted body of magi. I also swear to uphold the values and goals of the Camarilla, and I will maintain the Masquerade. I will not use magic to scry upon members of the House and Clan Tremere, nor shall I use it to peer into their affairs. It is expressly forbidden.

I will train only apprentices who will swear to this code, and should any of them turn against the House and Clan, I shall be the first to strike them down and bring them to justice. No apprentice of mine shall be called magus until he first swears to uphold the code. I shall treat my apprentices with the care and respect that they earn.

I concede to my elders the right to take my apprentice should it be found that my apprentice is valuable to an elder's work. All are members of the House and Clan and valuable first to these precepts. I shall abide by the right of my superiors to make such decisions.

I drink the cup without a second thought in my mind. "May I ask you for a favor? I have been going without the path blood for too long and to show more favor on our tradition of clan Tremere. I would ask of you to help me learn it as we learn more about Randolph."

"I was going to ask, an interesting catch. I to believe it is that time. You have studied the basics, now we shall put your abilities to the test," with an approving glance. He reaches into his drawer and pulls out a knife. He hands it to Sebastion motioning at the body of the fallen kook.

I grab the knife and slit his his wrist to get a dop of his viate. I bring the knife up to my mouth and taste it.It a power that almost seem foreign to me but in the time of war I must give up on my fights against the traditions of Tremere. I focus on taste to see if I had gain the Knowledge which I am hunting from this power.

It has been 2 nights since he has fed,
He is clearly of weak, 11th generation Malkvavian blood,
He has never commited Diablerie,
And he is definitly not the elder he pretended to be.

(Also, id like to know what you guys do with Randolphs torpid form, as he will wake up eventually if you dont use him for firewood or something.)
