In one of her rare occasions, Jillian arrives back at the Chantry..

Jiles of course greets her, and she speaks to him quickly.

"It is imperative that I speak to the Regent, now."

He nods and heads up to notify the regent of Jillian's visit, and then returns to her.

"He is waiting in the study for you."

Jillian simply nods to him, all business tonight, and heads straight to the study, knocking and then waiting patiently.

 From behind the heavy oaken door you hear the Regent's voice,

"Enter Jillian"

Upon opening the door you see him sitting at his desk poring over various manuscrïpts, a few that look quite old. From a glance they appear to be registers of Tremere apprentices. You are able to make out Atlanta on a one before he shuffles it away.

"A delightful surprise, what brings you here this evening?"

"Sadly, sir, it is not a moment of socialization that brought me here. There has been an... occurance..."

She moves in, taking a seat in front of his desk. Tonight she wears a knee length black pencil skirt that hugs to her hips, with a basic red blouse, also very tight, but moderately cut. Her brown hair is twisted back in a formal bun, and over the tight red blouse is a more loose fitting black sweater that falls off of her shoulders and covers her arms. Knee high boots are on her feet with a moderate heel.

"I don't suppose you've been watching the news much?"

 "I rarely do, I rely more upon the attentions of a few others for that. What has occurred?"

He is dressed in his house clothing, nothing ornately formal, just a simple white shirt and a pair of black slacks. She has immediately garnered his attention his eyes following her every move. He does not like surprises, nor covering someone's mess. Should it be one of his apprentices he will be most upset...

"I was just checking through the news and I found a most disturbing clip. One of the mad ones was in a scuffle at the diamond exchange. If I remember correctly, her name is Kara and she is of the Prince's blood. Not only did she shoot a man, but she ripped apart his flesh by her teeth. It was a very clear breech of the masquerade and a huge risk to us. I have come to you first. I know the Prince must find out, if he doesn't already know. I am prepared to help handle the situation on first command."

 "Take care of whatever is needed. We can not afford any breaches in our current situation. Should you require anything I will try and provide it, I hope you were able to control this situation before it became to widely publicized. It would do our clan well, should we be able to control it with little interaction from the others."

He sits stoically throughout the conversation, he has handled countless breaches from the other clans and has always used them to his advantage. He is certainly glad to have Jillian back as she is very good at handling such situations.

She nods to the Regent.

"Should I let the Prince take care of Kara, while I simply work to cover the situation? Or should I take care of Kara as well?"

 "No," with a measured stare to reinforce the point. "She is from the Prince's blood and he could take offense, we shall continue following protocol in this situation and it will likely lead to the same result. Just focus on blurring or concealing the event, if you can contain it so much the better. I need not explain that should we be able to control this situation thoroughly we stand to gain much in Carter's favor. Keep me abreast of the situation and any problems you encounter, I might be able to assist you if it is necessary," he again sits back, no use pondering the motivations of a mad one. This might play well into their clans power within the city though, it might well indeed.

She simply nods to him.

"Well, I must be off to... Work my magic..."

She grins and winks.

"I'm sure I'll see you again soon, sir."

And she stands, letting herself out.

 "Certainly, my dear, and good luck. I am certain you can take care of it," with a knowing smile as I crack open the book that had predisposed my attention. She is quite resourceful that one, now to just use everything she has learned.
