Under the bright moonlight, Solomon makes his way through the deep woods of Georgia. He knows his sister is around he somewhere. He felt her.

He moves at a steady pace, maintaining his speed, but remaining hidden by shadow and bending light. He notices the forest thinning and, suddenly, a large wooden cabin looms ahead.

 The pack has heard the two leg and has been wary. It is strange and unfamiliar. I smell its scent and it is unclean, as a rabbit left for weeks and eaten by maggots. I have smelled similar scents before and thought them foul. Never have I smelled it upon an animal. It is in my domain, my cubs are near. It shall not scatter the pack, we have been pushed for too long. Should it seek my domain I will fight.

A low growl followed by an aggressive snarl is heard by Solomon.

Solomon freezes as he hears the feral growl emanate from the dark woods around him. His sight focused to supernatural levels, he quickly scans the area for the source of the sound.

That was certainly not the sound of Korrigan. Those red-eyed devils never make a peep. Perhaps the Wuduwasa roam these forests... or the Bysarna...

Regardless, Solomon has no fear of any beast. He will find his sister. He will find her and protect her. No matter what.

 The stink is strong in this one, Why? I do not know, it seems unafraid, it is aware of my smell, I did not move high enough down wind.

I calm quickly, moving away, whatever it is it does not belong here...

Solomon quickly closes the distances between himself and the cabin. Drawing his sword, he checks the door to see if it is locked. If it is not, he will cautiously enter, alert to any chance of danger.

Solomon will find the sturdy door to the lodge locked. He will note that one of the cabins has its outside light on and there is a small amount of smoke coming from the chimney.

Moving quietly towards the cabin, Solomon will peak in through the windows, trying to get a descent view of what lies within.

Peering through the glass Solomon will see into the small one-room cabin. There is a wood stove and a tiny kitchenette. A small livingroom dominates the bottom floor with just a couch and some reading lamps. There is a tiny loft with a bed that judging from the mounds of blankets looks occupied. Given the sineage around this place a safe assumption would be that this is a sleeping hunter on a weekend vacation.

I am certain she is around here. Perhaps this hunter has seen her. My instinct says to kick down the door and start asking questions, but I know that is an unwise course. Eloquence and guile are needed... for now. I sheath my blade and concentrate.

He takes on the appearance of a young waif he saw several nights ago.


Approaching the cabin door, he knocks repeatedly in an anxious manner.

I wake with a start, sitting up in the small, not so comfortable bed. I rub my eyes and listen to the knocking for a moment to be sure i hadnt imagined it. I didnt think anyone else was out here tonight...

I climb from the bed and slip on my glasses, calling out to whoever is at the door.

'Hold on, im coming, whats the problem?'

I will open the door about a foot and peer out at this more than likely lost and half frozen kid.

I stand their, shuffling my feet and glancing about anxiously. I go to knock again when the door opens a crack and this old man looks out.

"I'm sorry to bother you... I'm looking for my sister... Kara... Have you seen her? I know she is around here somewhere... I have to find her..."

This is a bad place and a bad time of year to get lost. Its warm enough during the day but the cold weather as of late could kill someone unprepared for it. I open the door the rest of the way and look at my watch, seeing just how late it is.

'How long has she been missing out here? Ill help you search, let me get my coat.'

I am fully awake in an instance. The defender in me ready to scour the mountainside even in the dark to look for what I imagine to be a lost and scared younger sister of this young man. I pull on a heavy jacket and sling my hunting rifle over my shoulder. I came across signs of wolves in the mountains while I was hunting deer in the daylight.

I am thankful to have found this man. He seems kind and helpful... but perhaps it is a ruse! Perhaps he is the one whom Kara needed help from. Perhaps he is leading me into a trap! I am not certain, but I must be careful.

As the man reemerges from the cabin, I call upon my divine gift of sight, seeking to know the truth behind illusions.

Finding one person out here in the dark will be a task and a half. I test the batteries on my heavy flashlight as i step out into the chill air and close the cabin door behind me.

The young boy paces back and forth in the dirt, casting his glance about anxiously.

"She said something about a... Glass House... but I don't know what she meant... I only know that she is in trouble."
