Vincent, still in the shadows, keeps a keen eye on this Vampire named Randolf.  He notes his appearance exactly, and continues to watch from the shadows.

"Well climb in, and let us go to Carter then, so we can see if Mortimer did his job. The Seige shall be done under the greatest of insight friend." Randolf says tha last part with a very heavy inflection on it.

"I believe your "Friend" just got in his car and drove on his way.  And as I recall I'm just one of those "fags."

I have an agreement with the Regent by mutual need, I don't know any of you well enough to consider you friend."

Vincent remains where he is, watching this vampire, waiting.

"Ah, you do have a strange aura about you, and I ment nothing to offend you, but we might do better one of your kind there to help us in the plans agianst our enemy. You can meet our leader Carter." Randolf pointing this comment obviously in the direction of the on looking mage.

"Thank you for your offer, but I have no intentions of going anywhere alone with you, much less to meet your leader.  The Regent knows how to call for us when the time comes, and more-so he knows how to reach me.  I'm sure he can set up a meeting if you wish.

With that Vincent begins to walk around the side of the library towards his own vehicle.

As the mages leaves Vincent says something that stops him in his tracks. "Good night Vincent Morena."

Vincent stops for a moment, and turns his head towards this man, the corner of Vincents mouth raises into a half grin

"Well now things are interesting aren't they..."

The eyes that were once calm seem to glow, as if lightning dances behind them.

"I'm sure this won't be our last encounter."

With that Vincent resumes his walk to his car, Katana in hand.

Randolf floors it and hits Vincet with the front end of his car, and then after Vincet goes flipping over the car.

Vincnet hits the pavement hard, and will quickly realize the car is backing up at him...

But hes lucky and quick, managing to roll out of the way and just take the bumper to his ribs, rather than three tons of Caddilac over his entire body...

Broken and hurt, Vincent grits his teeth and stands, ignoring the massive injury he has already sustained... the caddy racing at him again he focuses his forces magic on the roaring engine while clutching his bronze amulet...

The caddy's engine heat dial immediately shoots into the red, and the car feels a bit sluggish, but still runs. Steam shoots from under the hood... but randolph is perfectly able to try and run his prey over, yet again...

With a rumble and burst of steam from the radiator the caddy strikes true... Vincents chanting and medallion dont save him in time... he is struck in the knees, which buckle in ungodly fashion from the force and is sucked bodily under the chassis of the Caddy...

Randolph will drag him underneathe the car across the entire parkinglot leaving a crunchy, bloody smear...

Vincent is quite dead, his body barely recognizable once hes peeled off the caddys undercarraige...

But, the overheating finally does its damage.. the caddy wont make it more than a block or two before the engine seizes up.

Randolf stops his car, and then gets out and looks at his handy work. "Damn you just knew too much about us sir. May this be a lessen to others." Randolf the picks a peice and begins to feeding on the nasty bits of person, and rummage through the belongings for a phone.

Randolph will find the phone in Vincents pocket.. well whats left of it. The phone is workable, even if the screen is cracked and antennae hanging freely...

Randolf calls his progeny. "Be prepared to clean my caddy when I get home. We need it to be clean, it has human all over it." He then hangs up and checks his temp gauge on his car.

Randolf then rumages into the pockets once more for the man's I.D. and takes it and pockets it.

(Unless im horribly mistaken, Nakazawi Toshi is still in the area to have at least witnessed some of this.)

Randolf waits for 20 minutes and then looks up to the sky and shouts "Sabbat, and I teach you not to mess with Camarilla." He then climbs in his car and drives off.

I wait quietly in the tree, a small patch of darkness amongst the blackness of night. It happened so quickly, I could not react, just wait, watch, mourn. Vincent was a good man, he will be missed. I felt uncertain, I feel ashamed. Could I have offered some minuscule amount of help, I know I could not. I would have been found and brutally killed as well. To survive sometimes one must become a soldier and learn. These creatures are like nothing I know of, the Kue-jin are much different. Those that I met mean well, but they believe they know all, the world is not like that. The world is much uglier, much more diverse. I do not know everything to be certain, but I respect that and learn, it is my path to growth.

I will wait for two hours before I quietly, climb out of the tree. Landing like a cat, sliding through the shadows toward my bike. I am certain he never found it, I have learned to hide it well. Behind a dumpster, covered in boxes and trash, it awaits and leads me further on and on, down the rabbit hole. I owe him something at least, his friends need to know what happened, and I will not let him down.
