The next day you are awakened to the smell of strong coffee, french roast if your guess is right. There is a small cup next to your Futon. You see Nakazawi wearing what looks like a gang bangers outfit. He has on a dirty pair of combat boots, a pair of military fatigues, a tank top and a bandanna.

 "Good morning, shall we head off to class? I have one scheduled this morning over in the park. This mornings exercise will be focusing on unarmed combat, Taijutsu. I will be exercising the Chakra holding technique. You are welcome to stay or go, your choice."

*Each new day her wounds are closer to being healed, is her nose even broken anymore? She drinks the coffee black and musses over his clothing* you look like a guy I used to know..*Poor Jamal* Yeah I'll come along *about 20 minutes later, showered (if there is a shower, if not she just washed her face and brushed  her teeth in the sink) and dressed as some hoochie mamma to go along with his Gangsta outfit, short tight ass shorts, and a small halter top, makeup to match, she wears a pair of knee high, high heeled boots, always trying to conceal her lower leg* Lead the way, Shidoshi.

 He locks the place up, and heads downstairs to his bike. He hands her a helmet while he throws one on himself. They take off down the street. They head over to a local park that seems to be covered in Graffiti and trash. There are a few people standing around waiting for them to arrive.

"We shall begin by pairing up, the lesson today will center upon hand holds. By grasping an opponent you can assert leverage upon them. The ninja used to tap all their fingers on hard wood for hours daily, to develop a vise like grip. All you must do is grasp a hold of the skin and muscle, you then have a hand hold to spin and maneuver your opponent to your will. I would like to see everyone try the technique."

*For the most part she watches, evaluating the other students, she only joins in unless she's asked to, perhaps she's nervous, maybe it's just that she's still healing from her beat down a few nights ago, who knows, maybe she just doesn't like playing with other kids..*

 I call for Kevin, a young college student, asking him to assist in my explanation. "Kevin will stand as an attacker, and I will grasp him quickly, them maneuver him to the ground. *She watches the exercise with great interest and concentration, when called upon she moves up to him and preforms the move, she's pretty good for a beginner*

 I hit the ground with a start. Mildly surprised at her ferocity, very impressive. "Yes, great job Karlie. Your handholds were tight and effective, now you can gain a bit of leverage by grasping just a bit lower here and here on the arm. It acts as a counterweight letting your opponents gravity work against himself." Showing her on himself the desired hand hold locations.

"Alright everyone split up into pairs and begin working, the more you practice the more comfortable you will be with your placement and the easier it will be. Karlie, I hate asking but can you assist Anne here," indicating a quiet dark haired girl about 19. "She would feel a bit more at ease with another female," and whispering "it's her first class as well" he says smiling.

*She gives Toshi a small smirk and nods to Anne* I'll go easy on ya, show me what you can do... *She makes a move to attack Anne*

 Toshi watches the conversation and as Anne leaves walks over.

"I assume you and her did not get along? She was trying, she just has grown in a world much different then yours. We all have differing life paths that seem to converge in the now. We only can live in the now, not in yesterday nor tomorrow. What did you learn in today's lesson?" he asks, not showing any emotional signs whatsoever.

*She bites her lower lip to keep from laughing anymore, she takes in a deep breath and looks around* I learned that..normal people are too sensitive. *She smirks a touch*

 "They can be, though I admire her determination to try. Many fail to get that far, even a fool has one talent. Let us continue with our training," as everyone gathers.

*A good 40 ft, unfortunately she went a bit too high and past anything too dense and she is wearing brightly colored cloths, she fails to hide, and sticks out like sore thumb compared to the rest of the class*
