Gand hates these parts of town. Not only does he have all the wrong cars for blending in but he just does not have the patience to deal with panhandlers or muggers or even most minorities.

Gand will stop the little convertible near the alleyway that leads to the Dojo. He flicks a button to put the top up as he steps out of the car.

Yin gets out and follows. She has never been to this dojo, but doubts it will different from her experience with other dojo's and martial art schools. She waits for Gand to lead the way noting his aggravation with this section of town.

'Gotta talk this boy into moving...' Gand comments, giving the sleeping bum on the doorstep a not so gentle nudge with his boot.

He reaches out and hits the buzzer, recoiling with a hissed curse when it zaps him. He bangs the door twice, calling out in an aggravated tone.

'Toshi, you home?'

 "I open the door, a bit sweaty and dirty, wearing some combat fatigues, a tank top and a pair of combat boots. Glancing surprisingly at Gand, "Hey what brings you down... Oh I see. Please I would like to invite you both in, we may speak inside." He opens the door allowing them both inside before locking it again.

You enter a darkened room with a small bamboo mat in the center, there is a small rack with a handful of Rattan weapons on the far side. There are numerous pictures of an elderly Japanese man with various Kangi adorning the walls. The place smells of Cherry blossoms. This is a tiny dilapidated building nothing like the Red Fist.

"Gand has informed me I am mistaken about your tradition. That I acted in haste, I apologize if my accusations startled you. My lineage and teachers are not as well versed as others and our dealings with the Akashic Brotherhood were not pleasant, nor have they been kind to us. You are not them, I hope you can accept my apology," as he bows to her in respect.

*Little Karlie is just full of suprises, well she's full of somthing, that's for sure. At the moment she's moving from the back room, dressed in sweats and a nice form fitting white tank top, her hair up in a poney tail, she seems a bit suprised to see Gand and his comanion* The hell are you doin' here? *She takes a small towel and wipes away some sweat from her forhead, then wraps it about her moist neck, she's obviously been training with Toshi*

Gand will inspect the place, seeming at least mildly interested in the pictures for a moment.

He looks suprised to see karlie here. Toshi's whole enlightened warrior schtick seems a little out of her leauge...

'Just dropping by so little miss timewarp over there can ask Toshi a few questions.' Gand says to Karlie.

That's nice of you...*She winks to Yin and gives Gand a lop sided grin* What'd she do to make you so nice? *And yes, she does stay out of Gand's reach, it's odd to see this one sober anymore, bright eyes, an easy smile...pretty really*

 "We were just out training, I had a class this morning. We just got back." Looking toward Yin, "So you needed to ask me some questions?"

Karlie with clear, sober eyes is a Karlie not under Gands control. Theres really nothing pretty about that if you ask him...

Gand grins, lowers his voice and tells Karlie:

'She agreed to do a shower show at the rabbit next week.'

*She snickers a rolls her eyes a bit* oooh I see, so you get ta see her naked? *This is all "Stage Whispered" back to him, she then turns her back on them to move to a small tray with tea, they can all see the harsh U shaped scars on her exposed upper back and shoulders, there are just some things she can't hide, she pores herself a cup and says over her shoulder* Anyone else wanna cup?

Yin extends her hand almost as if the tea is already there. "Yes I would like some tea. It has apparently been a long time since I have had some tea. Gand you may leave now and get back to your club if you need to."

*She grins and pores 4 cups, asked or not, she extends one to Toshi, then to Yin, and last..yes just last, Gand is offered a cup, if he takes it she'll lean back and sip at her own* Aaah Gand can't leave now, he just got here. *She winks to the man* Maybe I can practice a few moves on him, hmm? *A brow is raised in question*

 With a look to Gand, "Gand is a guest in my home, he is not here as a student. Please let me find some chairs, where we can all sit and enjoy a wonderful pot of tea. Then we can discuss what has brought you here. It would please me if you stayed Gand, that is if you have no pressing business to attend to." He walks just out of the room and there is some rumbling about and as he returns he has chairs enough for them all. As he returns Gand does notice the wallet chain is still on his pants.

Gand has one word to Karlie practicing anything on him: 'Negative.'

He will accept the tea, but probably just leave it to get cold somewhere. Not out of mistrust, he just doesnt like tea...

'Ill chill for a bit. Im in no rush...'
Gand will find a seat.

'Yin had some questions about the last month i inadvertenly robbed her of...'

*She smirks at Gand, yeah alright...Toshi says no, so no, she finds her own seat and sips at her tea, with a raised brow she looks at Gand* month you robbed her of? What you do, tie her up in your basement? Ya know I've heard of people doin' that. *She purses her lips thoughtfully and continues to sip away, eyes now focused on Yin...that might not be a good thing...*

"I find that repulsive." Yin says as she sips her tea. "He cast a spell that kept me out of the real world for about 30 days or so." I wish to know what happened to you recently, and of the other awakened in the city. What of Rashid?"

 Looking a bit respectfully at Gand. "Nothing has happened to me, I have continued as I have always done. I have only occasionally seen Gand, as far as the others are concerned, I never knew them. Rahshid left a month ago, saying something about a meeting abroad and that was the last I heard from him. I only casually knew him, so I did not expect any explanation. I do not belong to whatever group you claim membership to, so I am a poor council in the subject. Most of my dealings with 'awakened' were in Nippon and they were not nearly as pleasant. I am certain Gand would field these questions in a more informed light. I am but a simple man, teaching in a dojo in the slums. Perhaps you have confused me with someone else?" relaxing and sipping the tea, savoring the aroma as it plays upon his nose.

Gand almost chuckles at Yin. She might as well have asked karlie where the rest of the mages were...

*Speaking of Karlie, this girl is looking mighty confused, she looks to Gand and whispers a bit* Is this "Awakened" a club or something? *She sips at her tea, leaning in close to Gand*

'I dont know what shes talking about. She just said i cast a spell and sent her to the bermuda triangle for a month, shes clearly nuts.'

Gand tells Karlie before debating a different approach. Diversion.

'Wanna come check on my car with me? im pretty sure that Hobo on the steps is going to piss in my gastank or something...'
