Gand pauses hearing Toshi's answer. He turns a small glare on Yin...

'Did we really drive over here just so you could fact check with someone almost as weird as you are?'

*She raises a brow and leans back watching the little group* Gand, so far you're the weired one..*She snickers to herself*

"No, we came over here to accumulate wisdom. He might know something you don't believe it or not." Yin then sticks her tounge out at Gand.

Gand just shakes his head. he is Gand the Great, Gand the all Knowing... or at least he likes to tell people.

He will leave Yin to Toshi's annoyance and mercy and head outside to check on his car with Karlie and most importantly, keep her from asking too many questions...

God knows these two might actually trust her with something...

 "Perhaps you have mistaken my reply. I shall be a bit more direct, no I have no idea where anyone is, as I never knew them before, I am a very poor individual to ask concerning them. I am my own person and not to be confused with whatever umbrella you all fall under. Gand is absolutely correct, as far as wisdom, I can lend you some of my Buddhist texts, but beyond that you must ask questions I have some chance of answering. If you have come here seeking answers to what plagues your town, I have none. I am sorely unaware of the happenings in Sanfield, and have a full time job running a dojo in the slums by myself. All of my information comes through Gand, whom it seems brought you over here. So should he have decided to omit some bit of information he deemed you not worthy of, I will not disagree with him. As far as my own personal ideas about what is transpiring, I am certain you would not like to hear them as they would upset you greatly. That is why I keep my own counsel, I would suggest you do the same. In my home, I would have immediately suspected your sect and the metal dragons they serve. Here it is supposed to be different, I am not so certain. Why would you have sought me out, I have no information I would entrust to you, so you must be here to either size me or determine my position in these affairs. I have told you both, yet you continue to believe I harbor some information you seek, either I do and choose not to reveal it or I do not and you have taken a long ride for nothing. That is all I can tell you."

*She dons a pair of sandles before leavening with him, once out she stretches and yawns* So, what's going on? Been a few days since..well...*She wrinkles her still bruised nose* Ya, how'ya been? *She looks over his car absently, frowning a bit at the bumb as he walks by*

Gand glares at the homeless man even though he didnt so much as look at the car... Its a new one. Lexus, Gand never seems to keep cars for long.

'Good, busy.' He says, half heartedly. He glances back and forth down the street before leaning against his car and looking at Karlie.

'So you trying to be a ninja or something?...'

*She shrugs and leans back against the brick wall of the Dojo* Not like you really care...gettin' the shit beat outta me 'cause I was caught off guard, first by you, then this cop, kinda sucks. Hey uh..*She looks him over with a slight frown* do you happen to remember where you pawned my knife? I need it..*She waves away another bumb* Nope, no money. *Looks back to Gand and sighs* the cops took my other one *She just keeps on frowning, depressing when she's sober, isn't she?*

Gand grins at the memntion of her knife... or maybe at the memories of stomping on karlie until she couldnt even crawl away...

'Who told you I pawned that lovely antique knife? Honestly dear, do I need the money?'

Gand picks at something on the shoulder of his coat.

'You cant have it. You stabbed me with it, im keeping it.'

He flicks away whatever he picked off was and looks up to Karlie again.

'Besides im really not sure where i left it.'

*She clenches her jaw, her fists ball up, she's ready to beat the shit out of him* you mother.*She bites her lower lip and breaths deep, slowly calming, frowning deeply* Then you're of no use to me anymore. *with that she twirls about and walks away out onto the side walk and away from the Dojo, her whole body shaking badly, as if she were cold, ah, but he must have seen this shivering before, these twitchy movements, Withdraw...*

"No, more accurately I seek a place to stay. I have much experience in dojo's in the past. I wish to aid you in any tasks you need. Our views on things are not that diffrent with exception of our view of the brotherhood, it is gone now. The Agents took all my friends and allies out of that place but I can understand if you wish not allow me the request, and then I shall leave here, but I want to thank you for your time and tea." Yin then bows her head and begins to stand up.

Gand knows exactly why she needs him. She may call him devil-man but hes the only one who can feed her what she needs to really avoid experiencing hell...

'Right.' He says, producing a cigarette and lighter with a flick of his wrist.

'Ill see you in a few days.'

Gand sparks the cigarette and stays where he was. Yin has maybe ten minutes before shes walking home...

 I listen intently thinking about her position. I can understand her loss and feelings of emptiness, but I must also balance this with my suspicions. "I have a room, it is completely unfurnished on the third floor. I appreciate your enthusiasm about instructing here but our styles vary greatly. I run a very poor dojo and nothing of any importance occurs in this place, my class is held where my students will be utilizing the skills, not in a sterile gym. I can offer you what you need, and you are welcome to participate within the class should you feel it would assist in your recovery. I cannot allow you to have complete access to our training nor can I ever teach you of our ways, beyond what I might teach all my students. That is what I can offer, I will not betray my sect to our enemy if that is your desire. I do this that you might see that we are different from those whom journeyed to our island long ago. We can understand and offer a hand, perhaps one day we will heal the wounds from our forefathers though it will be but first steps today." Calmly he sits back and studies her reaction, not certain what it shall be. He slowly begins pouring another cup of tea offering to refill her cup as well.

*It is maybe 5 minutes later and she's walking back, having gone to the little corner market, she's pulling on her cigarette, stuffing the newly purchased pack into her pocket. She flips Gand off as she pass him, one arm wrapped about her small frame to keep from shivering too badly, she snubs out the half smoked cigarette and lets it drop. She storms back into the Dojo, frowning deeply, with a wave of her hand she dismisses Toshi and Yin, muttering to herself* Fucking prick, so gunna fuck 'im over...hate...ass hole..*She pushes into the bathroom and slams the door, more out of uncontrolled rage than her need to throw a tantrum...well at least the smoke calmed her just enough so she isn't quite breaking things*
