What neither the police, Harry, or Deirdre will notice is the young looking man dressed in all black standing in pool of shadow off to one side of her "podium."  No one seems to notice him, and even if they did no one seems to want to have any dealings with this strange man.  

Sunglasses adorn his face, a black t-shirt and black jacket adorn his torso, and black cargo pants and boots adorn his legs and feet.  He is unremarkable at the very best, but has had his gaze trained on Deirdre since she entered the room.

((there's no room or podium or anything, this is all happening out on the curb in front of the bar))

Theres no room, your both outside on the streetcorner. The podium was a 'soapbox' symbol for her ranting.

"How long have you two known each other?  Weeks? Months? Years?"

David watches Harry intently as his partner explores the club.

"A few months.  She was lookin' for work, a place to perform.  And she seemed to draw the crowds, so she became something of a regular.  She's sort of my co-manager, as far as things go."

David jots down some notes, noting the time the two knew each other.

"A few months huh?  So, this place insured?"

"Some of it, mostly the sound equipment.  That's really the most expensive stuff."

"Mmmhmm. What about yourself, how long have you worked here?"

David continues his note taking. Randal approches to see how his partner is doing.

"Almost done here?"

David shakes his head, "Just about, I only have a few more questions."

Randal frowns at him, "Well, lets make it quick, don't want to keep 'em all day."

"Well, I've been running this place...Oh, God, about 18 years?  Been my pride and joy.  I run it every night it's open.  Had another bartender once about ten years back, but she didn't work out.  So I pretty much run the place myself.  Like I said, Deirdre helps now, but it's pretty much my place."

"Hmmm, I see."  David jots down some more notes, while Randal pipes in.

"Did either of you find any evidence of any sort? Anything that can help us find the perps?  I took a look around and it is doubtful we'll find anyone.  Your insurance might cover this, but they are quite strict since a lot of places these days do this to themselves to collect on insurance."

"Well, one of them took a shit...sorry for the language...on my counter.  I'm not sure what you can get out of that, DNA or anything of that nature. Other than that...we didn't see much really."

"Really...well we'll let forensics come and take that in for DNA testing or something. We'll be on our way, and will give your insurance company a copy of our report."

Both officer head to their car and promptly leave.
