“You should try Matthew Slater of the Dead Punks for allies. He leads a small coterie and they may be sympathetic to your story. They should be around here on a busy night just talk to Harry about setting up a meeting. I think that may work really well. I’ve been meaning to talk them anyways. ”

“I can go see what I can do with Arturo; I bet you most of his action was just a power play on the Princes. I can go talk to him and set up a meeting. I don’t know how much the Regent would approve of this so maybe we should try Muadhnait Fiachra Pub. It is a neutral ground that I think everybody should be able to agree with as a meeting spot. I will tell him what the basic situation is and I’m expecting you to finish off at meeting. I’m getting to far ahead myself maybe I should get the meeting first.”    

She nods her head.  "Do you know where I can contact this Slater?  For at least a few weeks it looks like the club is going to be offline while we raise the money for repairs, and then put everything together.  I would like to talk with him.

"You spoke once of trying to band the neonates together, for protection and influence against the elders.  How serious were you about that?  And do you know of any others who would be willing to join such a group?  We need to be careful.  We do not want the Prince thinking we're breeding a revolution to overthrow him, but we need something for mutual protection.  Of all of us."

“You have to be really careful of how you state that plan. It is really just about creating a network for us to gather info and used for protection from oppressions. I don’t want any elder to feel treating by our presence because if they do we may get label as an Anarch movement and than we will all become ash. I’m just going on what I know to work well and back in Ireland we care less about clan and more about surviving. That allows us to take on a force five times our size in war of 1918 before we had to scattered from British forces. I just think a strong coterie with a strong leader will help create protection for anyone who need its.”

"Add to that, yes, I think we should find some way to band together.  I agree, it needs to be worded very carefully and done intelligently.  The point needs to come across that we are not trying to overthrow anyone.  More of a labor union, I suppose.  But each one of us on our own isn't going to do anything.  I guess maybe we can start talking to Slater about it, and carefully ask around with any of the other neonates."
