For the rest of the night, Harry goes over the financial plans with Christine:  various money-saving tips, government grants, tax write-offs, and the like.  He also inquires if she's able to search out deals for sign suppliers.  Right now, the new sign will probably be one of the biggest expenses.  

The inquiry to the new sign will take them outside.  That way, Chris can get information as to size, what kind (plain, lit up, fancy, LED tech or something old fashioned)

Once she has that information, she can start in on finding the best, at the best price.  

Other than that, she'll be checking to make sure nothing will stand in the way of said renovation, and go off to find out who does own the building.

The next time Christine and Harry get together,she'll let him know that the building, which used to be an old potatoe chip factory.  The factory itself has been bankrupt for six years, and yes the building is for sale, but the back taxes owed are more than the building is worth.

She will suggest, that if Harry still wants to buy the building outright, to consult a building inspector and the commercial agent, if there is one, involved.  Who knows, he might be able to get it for just back taxes, especially after all this time.

Reina left about the same time that Kyle did, leaving Harry and Christine to their mathematical fun times. She promised to come back and help more when she was needed. She'll be around.

Christine was also able to get a full line of prices for various types of signs.  Harry can have his choice of plain painted, with or without lights, hand carved, molded, plain lights, led lighting, computer aided lighting.  All the gamut from old fashioned to the latest high tech.  

Of course, the lastest high tech comes with the highest prices, he might want to go for something a bit less pricey.

Now that latest high tech, she might even be making some drawings, a new sign...but not for Thorns....
