Deirdre grunts as she's lifted off the ground and slammed into the wall.  Her expression has softened as she looks into Reina's blazing red eyes.  Now the rage and grief are beginning to funnel into a pit of fear.  She doesn't struggle, doesn't make any kind of threatening movement.  She felt the strength and force in Reina's arms, and she can sense the Beast simmering just below the surface.

"Listen...I'm sorry.  I...I...you did what you could.  I know you did.  I'm not angry at you.  It's just...you don't understand.  He's taken so much from me," she sounds almost on the brink of sobbing herself.  "First my brother, then his goons trashed my bar...now Lenor."  She tries to make some kind of case for herself, something to calm Reina down...and form some kind of apology.  "I shouldn't have reacted like that...I shouldn't have...laid a hand on you.  I'm sorry.”

For a moment she doesn't even seem to notice Nicole walk out the back door, her intent focused entirely on Reina and the glowering rage just ready to spill over into violence.
