There are many issues to be dealt with as far as constructing a new lab goes...

Pelayo in wandering around in the dimly lit basement with a flashlight, replacing bulbs and checking wires.

The place has promise. He doubts he could recreate his skin lab here... but then again he wouldnt need all the research space as he basically has the technique down...

Draconis will never get the power to make another atom amsher or whatever he was working on down here... not without blacking out the whole neighborhood for weeks at a time...

Pelayo sighs and screws in another lightbulb. Brushing some dust that falls on his hastily built radiation protection suit.

He needs some real clothes... hell, they need a lot of things...

Remote will drop Blue and Daniel off at the garage. Its the newest hideout and probably the safest... Plus Pelayo is already there and some of the others are expected.

Daniel will wake suddenly and jarringly, as if someone has thrown him in a vat of hot oil.  His mind is on fire as his nerves burn, that.....whatever it was can be felt even where he is.  He does not know what it is but it frightens him.  A cold sterile heat that seems to permeate the entire area for a short while then vanishes.

Daniel will calm down and realize he's not in the car anymore.  Daniel will be lying on a relatively clean patch of concrete in the back of the garage.  He is covered in the blanket that they took from the hospital and Blue and Remote are somewhere else.  

Daniel rights himself to look around the room, quickly remembering the cracked ribs and shoulder wound that haven't vanished like he hoped they would.  He was hoping it was all some bad dream.

Grunting, Daniel will make it to his feet and look around to see not much but what looks like remains of an office.  There is a window that looks out over some cars in what looks to be a garage.

Walking gingerly (and barefoot) to the door Daniel will step out into the garage...

"...Um hello?  Blue are you here.....anybody?"

Blue is there... But hes currently staring in horror out the office window... a cigarette smoldering at his feet after dropping from his lips when he saw the beam from the Monolith...

There is also a voice yelling up through the floor of the office... a voice Daniel doesnt recognize.

'What the fucking bloody hell was that!?'

Next to Daniel is his backpack, with his clothes, his cross and his holsters. His guns, however... are missing.

Daniel will look towards the strange voice coming from....somewhere and then look back to Blue.

"Blue........Blue?"

Grabbing his pants and boots from his backpack Daniel will gingerly replace his scrubs with the ever familiar black fatigues and then lean up against a car and bite his lip to put on and lace his boots.

Daniel will stare out the window trying to see what Blue seems to be lost in.  Daniel doesn't need to watch his hands, or see his boots to lace them.  He has done this many times before, one of his tests had even been to prepare and navigate an area in complete darkness so this was not foreign to him.

After swapping out his "I'm a patient" costume for his more familiar garb he goes to the window and gently nudging Blue with an elbow...

"I'm guessing you felt it too huh?  Whatever it was woke me, I don't know quite how to explain it.  Do you know what might have caused that kind of feeling?"

Daniel will place the cross back around his neck and bow his head, he will pray something unintelligible in what sounds to be Latin before looking out the window towards the city.  The Monolith dominates the skyline, with that horrible light still shining at it's apex.

'Thats going to be the last thing each of us sees and feels.' Blue mumbles looking out at the monolith...

The searchlight has begun its slow trace around the city again... a small storm springing to life over the city with a few flashes of lightning and a sudden heavy rain...

'You up for travel? we should go see where that hit...'

"Yeah I'm up for travel, but can we get me a shirt first..."

Daniel will grab his backpack and look out over the darkened city, the horrible searchlight now scanning the city.

"Hey, you wouldn't happen to have any spare firearms around, I must have left mine when I got shot in the alley..."

'Actually im pretty sure Xian was wearing them... youll never get them away from him now.'

Blue heads to the only car parked in the garage. A very plain looking Mustang Convertible from the ugly early 2000 models.
He pops the trunk to offer Daniel both a shirt and a choice of a few firearms. A small pump shotgun, a few small caliber handguns and even an obviously illegal mac-11 machine pistol.

Blue will catch a few words interspersed amongst the latin Daniel is muttering under his breath, amongst which are "stealing" and "injured man".

Daniel grabs the shotgun and gives it a once over like only a master at arms could, satisfied he takes the shotgun and straps it to a back holster he pulls from his backpack and grabs the case of shells.

"Where exactly did it hit anyways, I must admit I really don't know this town very well, I arrived here to hide a few nights ago, and well, you see how that went."

'It looked to me like it was right on the Red fist Dojo... '

He tells Daniel, shutting the trunk and getting in the drivers seat.

'Right where all our foolish Akashics hang out in a big group...'

As Daniel gets in the car (albeit still a tad gingerly) and puts his things in the floorboard including the firearm.

Pulling his cross from under his shirt Daniel closes his eyes and slowly recites a prayer..

"Mithras pater, te hoc ture ommovendo bonas preces precor, uti sies volens propitius mihi..."

Daniel will repeat this until his head snaps up and his eyes snap open, however this time his eyes are not his own....

Daniel opens his eyes to a foreign place. Its not the spirit world of the city, or even anything more real than a dream but he feels trapped. He can move his eyes, but its as if his body was encased in cement, his eyelids sliced off to keep his eyes open...

Maybe this is the citys way of calling for help, or the Monoliths threat...

Daniel will see the Monolith, growing as if from a seed, spreading black tentacles into the earth and creating an intense maelstrom from the sky.

Out of the monolith amrches legions of black armored soldiers with terrible energy crackling from their rifles. This city is being sterilized. The order of reason has come to pacify and reclaim this place

As his forced vision blurs he catches a few glimpses... faces he hasnt met, all in pain, screaming or dying.. the way things are now.

Death is the best the awakened can hope for.

All the while Blue drives the car.. wondering what kind of fucking weirdo hes picked up... He will nudge the chorister as they reach the Dojo...

'Hey, crackhead..?'

Daniels head will fall to his chest..

"....never done the stuff"

He is shaken by what he has been forced to see, It is not often he runs directly into the Order of Reason but he is 99% sure that is what has caused much of the hateful sterile resonance that now penetrates the city.

"That thing over there...(pointing to the Monolith)....contains much more than MiB's.  There are......things in there, things I don't think any of us want to see..."

Blue gives Daniel a quizical look and parks the car near the dojo.

'Id bet your right. IS -that- why your drooling and freaking out?...' He asks... and tosses Daniels wallet onto his lap as an afterthought.

'Figured id take your..uh.. crackmoney away..' He gives an akward smile and gets out of the car.

"I didn't drool.....much *clears throat*...

Yeah, I sometimes have dreams, didn't think that one would be so intense.

**gives Blue a quizzical look as Daniel replaces his own wallet**"

Daniel gets out of the car, weapon in holster, pack on, and follows Blue towards the Dojo.

(switching venue to the red fist...)
