*I had lured the boy out of the bar and led him around the back. He was lovily, like a doll, and danced like he was born to...truth be told, that is what caught my eye...perfect, fluid motions. He danced like he was taking part in some show.
Even in the alley I could hear the loud Gothic music pumping from behind the walls like a robotic hearbeat.* There is a ghost in the machine *He whispered after he asked me if I wanted to know his name.*
No...*with a gentle push against the brick wall I refrained. I did not want...need to know, it was better this way, for us both. Also, I did not want to talk about ghosts...not his anyway.*
A ghost...*his gaze shifted sky-ward as his eyes rolled to the back of his head. I did not desire to know of phantoms, I just wanted to bleed him dry.
It began to rain as I set him down and entered my car. The night's sky had cracked open and teared upon me. Throughout my journey home all I could hear was the monotonous beat of rain upon my wind-sheild. Heavier and heavier it came until I gasped, feeling as though I was stuck in a glass coffin and dunked in an underwater grave.
The House was hazy through the rain as I parked and ran to the door.I lunging in quickly as Vin greated me by the door.* Not fit for man or beast.
*His words came over me like a warm blanket and I let myself be helped to the sofa and covered with a blanket.* I do not need to be taken care of *I snapped as he fussed about and chuckled.*
As you wish...*I watched him until he vanished from my view, feeling now less than whole.
In the darkened night, amidst the storm, I watched the walls as shadows flocked in mocking form. The ghosts of him swayed around me, giving me one last performance before they died out under a liquid sky.*
